I have very coarse, curly hair that frizzes easily. I have tried most products that are on the market, but always come back to the Aveda brand. Yes, it is a little more than lower quality salon products, but it is so worth it!! I find that I don't have to use as much of this product to get the results I want. I am very picky about my hair and it has to be just so or I am not happy. Aveda Be Curly Shampoo hydrates my hair so that styling products can work effectively. I use the whole system because, for me, one without the other doesn't work as effectively. I highly recommend this product if you have not tried it before and are trying to find the best solution for manageable, frizz-free, curly hair.

  Love Aveda facial products and thought I'd try their hair care. This was what was recommended for my hair type. Bought the line of shampoo, conditioner and style product. Sunk a small fortune into this and came out less than happy. My hair felt heavy and weighed down so I tried using less but that didn't help either. I didn't feel that it helped with my curls like I was told it would, they felt limp and brittle and remained uncontrollable and frizzy. The scent was fantastic and I love that the products are eco friendly.

Aveda Be Curly Shampoo is a great product! This company strives to use all natural ingredients like plants to make great products. Be Curly shampoo is a great example of this. Not only is it made from plant extracts, it also smells great too! All this while giving your curls a boost in appearance. It leaves your hair clean and soft. Also adding moisture to what curly hair typically lacks. I would recomend this shampoo to any fellow curly hair gal.

 This shampoo is probably one of the best on the market for curly hair. It keeps my curls from frizzing and provides a ton of moisture. Be careful though...If you use too much, it will make you hair feel greasy. It you use too much, you will definitely feel like you need to wash your hair half way through the day. Sometime, when I use too much, I feel like I am itching to death.  I like it because it keeps my hair soft while enhancing my curls. The only drawback is that it is quite expensive, but a little amount goes a long way. It smells wonderful and it worth the price. Combine it with Be Curly Conditioner and curl creme for the best results. This product is not to create curls; it will only enhance the curls that you already have. I recommend it to anyone who wants their curls to be curly without all the frizz!!! Great for humid climates in the South!
