Good conditioner

4

I've used this with the cleanse and mend shampoo and it does a good job of cleansing and leaves hair soft and shiny. It's lightweight unlike many other moisturizing conditioners and has a nice scent. If you're looking for a conditioner that will moisturize dry hair, I'd recommend a different brand. This one is great to use regularly with the shampoo and I have noticed fewer split ends since I've been using it. The only damage I do to my hair is straightening every few days and occasionally curling, and it keeps my hair looking healthy. Not sure how much this conditioner would help if you color or heat style a lot, but it works great for me! It's my favorite inexpensive conditioner and has lasted me about 4 or 5 months!

Aussie Cleanse and Mend Conditioner sucks!

1

I bought Aussie Cleanse and Mend Conditioner because of my own fond memories of their purple shampoo, and because it was a great price. When I was younger I never had any issues with their products so I gave it a whirl. I should have realized that buying the huge size was a bad idea, unfortunately I didn't. I hate this conditioner. I've NEVER had to use so much conditioner in my hair (good thing it was so inexpensive). It didn't seem to work at all either. I've used a variety of conditioners from salons, all the way to the cheapest available and haven't ever hated a conditioner like I hate this one. Maybe it worked back in the day because my hair wasn't as damaged, but if you frequently dye your hair, beware. I've given up on this and use it as shaving cream.

Awesome Conditioner!!

I love this conditioner!! I bought it a couple weeks ago and it is absolutely amazing. I have very thick damaged hair. I put about the size of about two quarters into my hair after shampooing in the shower. Then I usually leave in for about 3-5 minutes. While doing this I shave and wash my body, etc. This takes around four or five minutes. Then, even though it is a bit painful, I put on really cold water to rinse out the conditioner. When rinsing hair with cold water, it eliminates frizz and makes hair softer, sleeker, and shinier. After I rinse with cold water I get out of the shower and wrap my hair up in a towel. I keep hair up in the towel for about fifteen minutes and then I let the rest of my hair air dry. When done drying I put in a frizz control smoothing milk and the John Frieda Frizz Ease Secret Weapon lotion/cream. With a combination of these products, my hair is frizz free, sleek, shiny, straight, and healthy looking!!!!!! I love this conditioner. Only four stars because I haven't had it for a long time but I already love it!!!

Best Conditioner for Oily Hair

5

The Aussie Cleanse and Mend Conditioner is the best conditioner I have found on the market for oily hair. I have always had very oily hair, and for years could not use conditioner, becuase it would speed up the process of my hair getting oily. However, I also have very thin hair that tend to get tangles very easily and need a condition to keep the tangles away. When I found the Aussie Cleanse and Mend conditioner, it was love at first use. Not only was it very affordable, but the smell is absolutely fantastic. The conditioner is not too heavy, and leaves my hair silky smooth and not oily. I can go through an entrie day without the first sight of oily hair now. Not to mention, it repairs damaged and unhealthy hair in a short period of time. It is also very lightweight-it does not leave your hair feeling weighed down with product. I am very pleased with Aussie's Cleanse and Mend line-it has helped my hair in so many ways!

I love this conditioner!

I absolutely love this conditioner.  It is higher priced than Pantene products, which I have used for many years until a hairdresser told me that Pantene is horrible for your hair and leaves a waxy residue.  I have always had trouble with my hair being damaged and frizzy after a few months so I thought I would give a new conditioner (and shampoo) a try.  Aussie is the best!  I no longer have frizzy hair and have found that I don't get broken ends as often either.  It smells great and even my co-workers have mentioned that my hair smells great, so apparently the smell is long-lasting and pleasant!  The shampoo is thick, and the conditioner is not as thick, but does not feel like it is diluted or skimpy.  It have longer, curly hair, and I always tend to have to use two or three pump squirts of conditioner, whereas only one pump squirt for shampoo.  I leave it on my hair for about 3-5 minutes before rinsing and it leaves my hair feeling really soft and smooth.  One downfall to that is that the pump stopped working once (on the shampoo - but it's the same design on the conditioner) and it's a real pain to have to take the large bottle and hold it upside down to get the conditioner out.  You can tleave the handle off of it because the shower water will dilute it.  That's the only negative thing I can think of with this conditioner!

Aussie Cleanse and Mend, awesome.

I have tried many different conditioners before, but I have never found one as great as Aussie Cleanse and Mend. It has a succelent smell of fresh squeezed oranges. It has done exacly what it was designed to do: cleanse and mend. It has helped my hair be more clean and less damaged.

a great standalone conditioner, lightweight and hydrating

4

I bought both the cleanse and mend shampoo and the cleanse and mend conditioner. I think for my type of hair which is a combination of oily roots and dry ends, that the pair is overwhelming and just too much moisture. I instead switched back to a cleansing shampoo with no added moisturizers and continued to use this conditioner. It works well for me. I like the scent, it doesnt linger, nor is it overpowering like some can be. It lightly hydrates without weighing down my hair, and doesnt make my oily roots worse. I like to use it on the length and ends of my hair, and whatever is left on my hands after coating the end i add to my roots and scalp. I think this helps. but overall in the dry AZ desert where I live, my hair isn't suffering by being super dry. It is lightweight and gives me just the right amount of moisture. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a lightweight bargain conditioner. The price is pretty good, and coupons are readily available that make it a bargain, without skimping on quality.

Great scent, but absolutely wrecked my hair!

I loved the way this smelled in the store and believed that it might actually be worth trying. However, from the first time I used it, it made my hair feel progressively worse-very weak, dry, and really,REALLY frizzy. I'm totally disappointed in this product.

Aussie Cleanse & Mend Conditioner is what I use in the winter

4

Aussie Cleanse & Mend Conditioner is my conditioner for winter.  I use it in combination with the Cleanse & Mend shampoo, which I have also written a similar review for.  This conditioner leaves my hair soft and healthy.  I trust the Aussie brand.  The purple bottle is a great addition to my shower as purple is one of my favorite colors.  I am not saying you should purchase it because of the color of the  bottle, but I might have been drawn to this brand initially due to the packaging.  I love how it prevents my long hair from getting split ends even in the cold and harsh winter. The product is creamy and yet doesn't weigh my hair down.  I love the smell of this conditioner.  It is light and not too overwhelming.  I don't really notice the scent after the shower, but I normally use styling products after I get out of the shower.  I will often switch up my shampoo and conditioner regime for spring and summer, but I highly recommend this conditioner for winter or if you have year round dry hair.

Perfect with the shampoo.

I use the shampoo and conditioner daily. I am very pleased with the way it makes my hair look and feel. The whole point of the cleanse and mend products are to help oily roots and dry ends. My hair has been an issue for my younger life due to have the greasy roots and dry ends. But using this conditioner (in addition to the shampoo) has made it so my hair has a nice and healthy balance. I still currently use both the shampoo and conditioner regularly.
