Astroglide is easily the best lubricant that we have used. We used to use KY, but it can be very sticky, making it uncomfortable on the fingers and leaving a dirty feeling afterward. Because of these problems, we decided to give Astroglide a try, and we have not gone back to KY since then. On one hand, Astroglide feels very much like regular water, so it doesn't give a sticky or uncomfortable feeling at all. But on the other hand, Astroglide does provide a very good lubrication, much better than regular water would. It is easy to apply, and it will stay on the skin quite well without soaking in (providing lubrication for a longer time). The one complaint that I have is that it can be a bit runny. It is easy to spill, and if you get a little too much on the skin it can start to run off. The bottle seals pretty well, but the lid will occasionally leak. So if we are taking it when traveling we usually put it in a separate plastic bag so that it doesn't leak onto other toiletries.

Most of the higher quality lubricants can only be found in adult novelty stores or online (ID being my all time favorite), but for the readily accessible stuff Astroglide is great. It's great for both solo play and with a partner. It lasts long, isn't sticky at all, and if you're using them with condoms, it definitely can prolong a session. Highly recommended!

This product does what it's supposed to, but eventually it becomes a sticky gooey mess, and it's not fun to clean up! It is very slippery at first, but within 5 minutes almost always dries up into a sticky rubbery sort of feel (which isn't very comfortable for either gender). The price is good and it does what it is made for, for a while... just be cautious about this when buying. You get what you pay for.

I am at the stage in life when using a douce to freshen up can be painful. It has actually caused me to bleed. So when I need to freshen up, I often use a lubricant to help me. Recently I received the Astroglide Personal Lubricant & Moisturizer in the mail. The sample sachet contained 0.14 ounce (4 ml) of this water based gel. It has no smell to it. I tipped up the sachet and allowed a few drops to fall on the palm of my hand. I then applied them to my personal area. Next I inserted the douce, and it went in smoothly. I was able to freshen myself. When I removed it there was no pain, or bleeding. This works great for me. I have no idea how it works with condoms.
