Art art and more art all at your fingertips!

5

Great website if you're shopping for art of all kinds and would rather stay at home then go out to store and walk around. And honestly, I wouldn't now where to shop for this art, besides to find cheap replications at like Hobby Lobby or Michael's. There's a huge variety and definitely some discounts to be had. The website is super organized and very easy to navigate. You can search through subjects, artists, rooms (love this - certain places in the house they suggest for you), product types, and photos to art. Course it's art, so it can be pricey, but the prices do range depending on what size and type and artist, etc. Looking at it again right now, they even have a huge sale going on, slicing up to 75% off. Shipping is very important to me when shipping this kind of fragile items. They give a real detailed information about how each certain type of art is shipped, whether it's poster so it's shipped in a tube, or in a frame, etc. Their standard delivery is only 3-5 days, which is definitely nice to see. some can be 5-10 days for standard. I also appreciate on the website that since it's the holidays, as you browse every item , it tells you when it will arrive if you purchased today.

Brilliant!

Art.com is a brilliant concept for a website. Art makes any wall look hundreds of times better, but it can be hard to find exactly what piece you're interested in! A lot of people don't have the time or money to go to an art show and spend hundreds and thousands of dollars. On Art.com you can enter search terms to find the exact type of piece that you want. There are thousands of pieces of art and you almost can't make a decision because there are too many choices. I've made 3 purchases over the past year from Art.com and I have never been happier. The quality of the pieces are awesome and the customer service is spot on. This website is an awesome idea and is the easiest way to find beautiful decor for your wall.

Huge selection

When you have a name like art.com, you know it's going to be big. Art.com definitely has a huge selection of art! They have any type of 2 dimensional art, no sculptures. They have posters, prints, canvas, frames, etc in any type of category - photography, paintings, etc. The site does a fairly good job in organizing all these different types of art and has filters to help you narrow down your choices. They are categorized by subjects, what room its for, artists, type of material etc... After browsing through the enormous selection, you can finally purchase your art piece. While the prices aren't exactly deals, people usually buy art for a certain purpose or value. If just wanted something to put on the wall, you can find that anywhere. Shipping prices and shipping times are reasonable and they come packaged nicely. Art.com is definitely a good place to browse for art pieces.

Very pleased!

I wanted some dancing photos to hang up on the wall, and I found that this website has a great selection of tango prints, which was exactly what I was looking for. The Tango Argentino II is superb and also at a steal of a price. I love that photo and find it to be very sensual. Aside from that, they have a huge selection to choose from and I did not have any problems with the order at all. The occasional 25% discount of all orders is excellent as well! The delivery is fast and they are packaged very professionally. No damage whatsoever to the print at all. I'm enjoying my purchase and will order from them again in the near future. It is a very reliable service and they let you accurately know the dimensions of what you are ordering so there are no unknown surprises once you received your order. Overall, I am very pleased with my order and would place another purchase in the future!

No matter what your style, art.com has it.

I love this site. They have so many different pieces of art - there's something for everyone. Now matter what style of art your looking for, it's here. The have reproductions of all the masters, as well as modern art, prints and photographs. The search feature gives you so many different ways to find what you're looking for - by subject, artist, style or by keyword. They offer art both framed or unframed. They give you lots of options with framing - including lots of custom frames and matting. Most pieces of art are offered in multiple sizes, so you can always find the right piece to fit any space you are decorating. The prices for prints is very affordable and the framing prices are competitive with framing shops. You can even get your own photos turned into quality "art". Shipping is reasonable and orders are processed quickly. It takes about a week or so to get my orders. No matter what type of art you're looking for, no matter what your style is, no matter how much "wall space" you are filling, you will find plenty of choices here.

Art.com: How Much Artwork Can One Online Store Contain?

5

Artwork can enhance most any room. The challenge is to find the right piece of artwork, which could include paintings, photographs, or some other type of artistic accent. One site ready to help you find the perfect piece of art for any decor is **Art.com**, an online store with hundreds of thousands of works of art just waiting to be purchased. **Online Store Commentary:** Art.com is a web service that sells various works of art for home or other use. This online store is one I discovered only recently, and this is quite a surprise when you consider the number of online stores from which I have made online purchases over the past ten years. I visited Art.com because I wanted to find some large photographs of scenic landscapes, and also look for some specific works of art from specific artists. I found what I was looking for, and much, much more.  Art.com has many great things to offer and the greatest is the gigantic selection. Adding up the art work offered in the different categories reveals a total that approaches 750,000! Yes, you read that correctly: Three quarters of a million works of art can be found at Art.com. With numbers like that, you can most certainly find just about any type of artwork you have ever desired. Even if a specific painting isn't offered, you can still find a good alternative and often, the alternative you find will be even better than the original artwork you were looking for. Another great feature at Art.com is the helpful search tools. It can take time to narrow down to the specific item you want, but with such a huge selection, I can't see how it could work any other way and still give customers what they want. Let's say I want a photograph of a beach scene. I start by clicking the Photography section, then I select Scenic, and then Beaches. At this point, I can customize my search even further by selecting a specific type of photography, a specific scene, a specific size, and a specific shape. You can even select a primary color to narrow your search options to include only those that emphasize a specific color. Each step of the way, Art.com let's you know the exact number of items that fit your criteria so that you won't be overwhelmed by the number of selections.  Along with the artwork itself, Art.com offers additional services as a convenience. Custom framing is one such option. Many pieces of artwork are offered in several different frames and matting options and one can click an option to view the selected photo or painting in these different frames. This is a nice feature, but it will add significantly to the bottom- line price. A $10 poster, for example, will quickly jump to $100 if custom framing is added. Canvas transfers and wood mounting are also offered. Again, these are nice features and they can come in handy for those who want a completed, framed work of art. But doing the work yourself will save a large amount of cash. Shipping is very efficient with Art.com and the items arrive in good time. However, one fact that surprised me a little when I received my first Art.com shipment was the way Art.com packages its items. Pictures, if they are purchased as a poster for future framing, are shipped rolled up and placed in a box shaped like a triangular prism. I expected they would be shipped flat, in order to best preserve the shape. But Art.com rolls them up and places them in a long, triangular prism container. Because of this, you have to be very careful when you removing the art from the package. The posters need to be carefully flattened out on a table or gently rolled in the opposite direction to get them flat enough to frame. Act too hastily and you could end up bending or folding the poster and causing a crease that will be visible when framed. **Bottom Line Viewpoint:** Art.com is a most enjoyable site with a selection that boggles the imagination. The site helps you find the perfect work of art for any room in the house by guiding you through different steps with different search criteria. Don't be surprised if you end up browsing the site for hours when you first visit. With more than three- quarters of a million different pieces of art for sale, Art.com is certain to keep you occupied for a long period of time.

AMAZING selection

4

I am a long-time fan of Art.com. Their selection is just amazing--everything from cheezy boy band posters to custom-formatted original works of art. Their prices are really great. There is almost always a sale of some sort on and during the best promotions they might throw in free shipping too. I have only ordered a few things but in every case, the image is great looking, much as it appears on my monitor. The site is sure to please and can enable you to decorate at a very low price. Highly recommended.

Lots of Art, but Good Luck Finding The One You Want

3

I really wanted to buy something from **Art.com**. I really did.  Unfortunately, it was impossible to find the poster I wanted in a sea of 500,000 images.  There are a breathtaking variety of prints, from classic reproductions to exotic abstracts and beyond.  However, I had something quite definitive in mind and figured it wouldn't take long to find it I have a poster frame that is 16 x 20 inches, and looks very much like a window.  My goal was to find a landscape portrait so that when you looked at the picture, it would feel like you were looking through the window and out into the scenery beyond.  Simple enough, I thought. It wasn't like I was looking for something highly unusual or rare. When I clicked on the advanced search function at Art.com, I was surprised to discover that there was no way to select the exact dimension of the picture.  The best I could narrow down my search was to select dimensions based on minimum and maximum width and height.  Therefore, I ended up with over 1200 items to peruse in landscapes alone.  As I began to browse, I quickly became frustrated at the sheer volume of sizes that fit the minimum and maximum parameters but were wrong for my needs.  If only I could have narrowed down the search to the exact size I was looking for, I may have had a better experience.  As it is, I gave up the search somewhere before the halfway point. Overall, **Art.com** has a lot going for it - thousands of pictures, a wide variety of subjects, and an enormous gallery of styles.  Unfortunately, trying to find my desired image was like trying to find a needle in a haystack.  I can only recommend Art.com if you already know the specific artist or title of a particular painting.  Otherwise, get comfortable because you're in for many many hours of eye-crossed web browsing.
