I've had this rice cooker for over 3 years now and it hasn't failed me yet. I end up with perfect rice every time. It is simple to use and easy to clean. I love the delay timer function. Performance I use the cooker primarily for rice, but have used it to steam vegetables and cook oatmeal. Works great every time. Delay timer allows for an easy and hot oatmeal breakfast on early school mornings (if you can remember to throw it together the night before). Ease of Cleaning Nonstick surface makes cleaning the insert as simple as can be. Inside, particularly the lid, is easily wiped down with a damp cloth. I don't think it could be any easier to clean. Ease of Use Instructions and guides included with the rice cooker make it fail-proof. Durability This is my second Aroma rice cooker. I had no problems with my first cooker, but received a bigger one with a few additional functions (this one) as a gift. I am going on 4 years with this rice cooker and still looks and functions as good as new. Design Rice cooker looks very nice. Lid is attached and creates a nice seal when closed. No complaints.

We got this rice cooker as a gift. I like it, but somehow STILL end up either undercooking or burning my rice. It must be me. I do cook brown rice, so maybe that has something to do with it?! It still takes a long time to cook brown rice, but it is nice that I just leave it in the rice-cooker for a few hours and don't really have to watch it. This is also a steamer. I like that I can steam things quickly and easily. I've steamed lots and lots of foods for making purees for my baby. This makes that really easy. This has a lot of parts, and it's hard to store in a small kitchen and sometimes the clean-up doesn't make this worth it to me. It is nice to have, but I'm not sure I would have bought it myself. As a gift though, I'll keep it!

Excellent rice cooker. The features included are the same found in brands that cost three times as much. It has that famed neuro-fuzzy technology that makes steel-cut oats, brown rice, and soups taste like they were carefully cooked on the stove for a long period of time. Performance We have been using this rice cooker for about two years and rice is cooked frequently because we cook Asian-Style meals regularly. The rice comes out perfect every time and ir we forget to set it before we leave the house, we can use the 'quick rice' feature to have the rice cooked in the same time it takes to get the rest of the meal ready. It makes steel-cut oats very well and replaces the time and vigilance needed when doing it on the stove. One caveat: When making rice always make more than two measured cups of rice, or the keep warm feature will eventually burn the bottom of the rice. In short, the more cups, the better. Four is plenty for most small families with leftover for next day. Ease of Cleaning The non-stick interior makes it easy to rinse and wipe with a sponge and dry. This pot is aluminum and should not go in the dishwasher. Hand wash only. The exterior of the pot simply requires a damp sponge for the occasional cleaning. The electronic panel is sealed and a damp sponge will remove any fingerprints or water drips easily without damaging. The steam vent is removable and easy to clean under running water. This should be done frequently, especially for those rice meals that contain a lot of starch, or for people who forget to rinse the rice until water runs clear. Ease of Use The instructions offer enough recipes to get anyone started, but the electronic panel should be sufficient for most people accustomed to rice cooker. Nice digital display. Easy to read. Durability Going strong after two years and both the non-stick interior and housing look brand new. Design The lid is attached to the base of the rice pot. For some people, this may be a small nuisance.
