We bought this product when our newborn developed eczema on her face and shoulders so badly that I couldn't find smooth skin on her anywhere anymore. We thought it was acne at first but when the bumps began to cluster and form dry patches, we knew that it had to be something else. A quick visit to the pediatrician's office confirmed that it was eczema and that we simply needed to find a mild soap to wash her with every day to remove any dead skin, coupled with some hydrocortisone cream to reduce the inflammation. After using the Aquaphor Baby Gentle Wash & Shampoo for only two or three days, her eczema went away completely. We still use it on her months later (we ditched the cream after her skin cleared up) and she's been breakout-free ever since! Performance The wash is gentle, cleans well, and doesn't irritate my daughter's ultra-sensitive skin. It keeps her eczema at bay like a boss. I love that it's clear and lathers quickly. My daughter absolutely loves her warm baths and the smoothness of the wash. Scent It has almost scent at all, which works well with my daughter's sensitive skin. Just a light, soapy aroma that you can't smell unless you stick your nose into it.

This costs a bit more, but it is worth it if your child has sensitive or dry skin. My daughter was really battling winter skin, and we tried this. We had used aquaphor for adult products before at the recommendation of a dermatologist, so we figured this would be good option, and it really was. We don't use it year round because it is more expensive, but for the winter it is a must have.

Im using this for my baby from he born.Initially i got this sample from my son's doctor office. After using this, i just started using till now, now he is 14 months old. it never happend me to try another one. Very mild and soft. I would like recommend for others. Scent No scent.

With the winter months my skin gets very dry and itchy.  My bath products provide very little relief.  I love the Aquaphor Ointment as it provides relief, but need something that can reach all over my body.  I admit to grabbing my children's **Aquaphor Gentle Wash for Dry Sensitive Skin** and placed it in the shower for my own use too.  **What I like about Aquaphor Gentle Wash for Dry Sensitive Skin:** - silky smooth body wash - soft lather  - soothes my dry skin  - light fragrance  - gentle enough to use on my face too **What I don't like about Aquaphor Gentle Wash for Dry Sensitive Skin:** - the dispenser - pours too easy - I end up wasting lots of the product  - expensive  I like that I can use **Aquaphor Gentle Wash for Dry Sensitive Skin **for both the children and me.  Our skin is silky smooth, soft, and experiences relief from winter's drying.  When they are in the bathtub it doesn't cause them to be too slippery. This body wash is one of those things that make your skin go "ahhh."  Performance Soothes dry skin and helps keep it away. Scent Light fragrance doesn't interfere with my perfume.

My ten month old son had a mild case of eczema, and we had no idea how to take care of it. Our pediatrician recommended using Aquaphor Body Wash or another product without scents and following up with Aquaphor lotion. We used the body wash for two days without the lotion and the eczema immediately starting clearing up. I was, needless to say, impressed. The body wash lathers up well, and seems to be concentrated, so a little goes a long way. It does not have a cloying scent like other popular brands out there, which I appreciate. One major drawback to this product is the price - it is about three times as expensive as the major brands, and you get less in each bottle. It can also be hard to find in stores.

When I was pregnant, I went through this massive phase of trying to prepare for every eventuality (learn from my mistakes: don't do it! You'll never be able to do it!), and part of that was stocking up on Johnson's baby wash. Unfortunately, after my baby was born, I soon came to discover that she had a skin sensitivity to certain products and could not use the Johnson's wash. Now I'm using the Johnson's baby wash and by baby is using the aquaphor. So I automatically loved the aquaphor from the start...it didn't make my newborn break into a rash! But it also has other pros: - a little bit goes a long way! I just pour a little bit on the washcloth (it doesn't work as well if you put it on the baby), and I can work her into a good lather. I used Burt's Bees too, and you have to use much more Burt's Bees soap than Aquaphor. However, the pour spout is more conducive to pouring out a larger amount, so you do have to be careful. - My baby smells good, but it's not overpowering. That way her naturally sweet and clean baby smell comes through. If you feel like you have to stock up on something, I'd recommend you get some coupons for this product and stock up on this!

We received a sample of the Aquaphor Baby Gentle Wash & Shampoo and used it recently on a trip. We loved the way it smelled fresh and clean and not overly perfumey, which I dislike in so many other baby shampoos and soaps. It also lathered up well and rinsed clean. Our daughter emerged from her bath with soft skin. It also helped reduce a tiny patch of cradle cap that we had been battling for some time. She also has very sensitive skin and is somewhat prone to eczema and I feel as though this soap did not aggravate her delicate skin condition. It's great that you don't need a lot of it to get a good lather going either, which means one bottle can last for a very long time. We've used other Aquaphor products for many years now and have been very pleased with them. Aquaphor Baby Gentle Wash & Shampoo lives up to the other products in the Aquaphor family and I can guarantee that we will keep using it.

I was using another baby wash for my baby. I noticed she was getting rough, dry skin. It was a sign that something wasn't working. Babies should never have dry, rough skin. I had recieved a sample of Aquaphor Baby Gentle Wash &Shampoo from somewhere. I love the other products by this same brand, so I decided to try it. I instantly saw a dramatic improvement in the dry rough spots on her skin. After just the first wash with this product I could feel a difference. When I got to the store to buy the full size after my sample had run out, I saw how much more expensive this product was, compared to what I was using before. Its very worth it though. Obviously the improvement to her skin is priceless. But only a small amount is really needed, so it lasts a long time. I love that the product is gentle enough to be used on an infant, and it doesn't dry out even the most sensitive skin. I also love that I can use it on her face and head, which is an even more sensitive area for babies, with no problems. This is my new baby wash staple.

I absolutely love this product.  My son has always had an issue with dry skin and small ezcema spots and I am always looking for a product that is very gentle.  This product does the job!  I also love the fact that it does a double duty by allowing me to use it as a shampoo and a body wash.  It smells very clean!  I also use in combination with this product the original Aquaphor as well as Aquaphor lotion.  All are frangrance free and do not cause irritation.  And best of all, it is tear free and doesn't cause stinging or irritation to my son's eyes.
