The Aquage shampoo and all Aqage products are amazing. They are pricey - but definitely worth the money and last quite a long time as you do not need to use much of the product. The shampoo takes a little getting used to because it does not lather as much as traditional shampoos, because they are sulfate free. Sulfate free is great not only for the environment but also for color treated or any treated hair. It is not nearly as damaging to your highlights, etc. I've found that with store bought shampoos -even sulfate free - make me my hair (very fine) frizzy after a week. My hair does amazing with the Aquage line, my hair really does have a salon feel to it - and I've always thought as silly to say. But with these products, you get really great results. I use the shampoo, conditioner, thickening spray and the holding gel. As for product specifics: - Color and consistency are thick - Light, pleasant smell - Only require about a quarter size amount for medium length hair - Bottle lasts 2 months with daily washing
