I have owned an Apple for most of my life, so I am a little biased when it comes to computers. My friends swear by PC and I swear by Apple, but with the improvements of technology I am starting to wonder if Apple is really the better product. The main reason I bought the MacBook Air was because Apple's don't really get many viruses compared to PCs. It is true, I haven't installed any anti virus software on my MacBook, which I've had for 2 years, and I have yet to have a virus. My laptop hardly ever "freezes" up, which is great compared to other laptops that are not Apple made. But as far as functionality and compatibility, this laptop falls short. There are many programs I cannot use because of the operating system. While it is only a minor inconvenience, it still is sometimes an inconvenience. Then, there is the price. The Mac Book is double the price of a decent computer. There is limited to no support for the MacBook. Who works on Apple computers these days? If you want support, you will have to go in to the Apple store and pay an arm and another leg to get it fixed. So far I have not had any issues, but I dread the day that my Apple needs fixing. Yes, the Mac Book is cool, but it does lack many features. Something as simple as hooking up your laptop to the TV requires a special cord for Apple specific computers, compared to a regular cord for other laptops. Next time I'll probably save my money and buy a PC. Also, the battery life sucks. Mine goes for 4 hours before dying.

The MacBook Air is a great laptop, the ease of using it is great. There are so many great apps and software already loaded on, but nothing unnecessary like other brands. It is a clean, sleek laptop. I like that I can sync information from my iPhone, iPad and Macbook Air. iCal is great and notes that I write on my phone are on my laptop as well. Also iMessage is a great chat that syncs with iPhones and and iPads as well. I can be texting on my phone and go to my computer and continue the conversation if the other person has an iPhone. Really the Macbook Air is a great product to have. The Apple MacBook Air is an amazing computer. I like how simple it is to use. My kids love using it as well. I have had three MacBook Airs. I love the light up keyboard. I think the newest one has amazing battery life, I can pull it out in the morning and I do not have to plug it in until bedtime. It is perfect for traveling, it is lightweight and very slim.

I needed a new computer, but I also envied the portability of the iPads and tablets my classmates carried to class. This macbook air is the perfect combination of the two! I love having the ability to take it anywhere without the weight and the bulk, but it still has a real keyboard and the ability to store documents and run software. Ease of Use Very intuitive and fun to use! Battery Life It lasts all day! I never even take my charger to school with me, and I've never run out of battery. Support & Service Occasionally the webcam will not work with google hangouts or skype, and I sometimes have to look for updates to either the program or to the OS. it's odd. Speed/Performance Starts up so much faster than my old PC! Design Beautiful. It's nice to look at, and the screen quality is good! Just what I need for my purposes. Durability It's a very lightweight computer, so it seems like it might not stand up to too many problems. I got a case for it, and a neoprene sleeve for when I put it in my backpack, and I haven't had any problems at all.

It is technologically superior to all other laptops but it is also pretty easy to learn how to use. I use it for school and gaming. It is lightening fast and the graphics are truly incredible. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a computer that excels in all categories. It is the best laptop I have ever owned.

The Apple Macbook Air is amazingly wonderful laptop. It is very compact and portable, just slightly larger than a spiral notebook. It is great for anyone who is always on the go and/or traveling. It fits right in my bag and takes very minimal space. It is very lightweight so you will not experience and problems with it being bulky and causing any travel issues. The speed and functionality has been outstanding with no problems whatsoever. The preloaded apps are great and I like having the ability to access the app store for other apps to improve my dialy usage. The image quality is also outstanding. The durability of this product was very surprising to me since I tend to be slightly rough on electronics and such. It has with stood bumps and dings from the little one as well as being dropped by me multiple times. I would recommend anyone in the market for a new laptop definately give this one a chance. you wont be diappointed by no means.

I am currently a commuter in college and have a heavy course load that involves a lot of work to be done online. Seeing as we are progressing in this era of technology, my professors love the idea of having us complete assignments digitally. As wonderful as that is, carrying a heavy laptop back and forth everyday as a commuter is not as appealing. Insert this beauty of a laptop. This macbook air is nothing short of perfect for my daily needs as a college student. It is small, lightweight, and best of all, its a fully functional laptop. Apple made sure not to cut corners with the performance of this laptop and I truly appreciate that. I get an average of 6 hours of battery life out of this with moderate usage which is pretty impressive for a laptop this size. While I do not recommend it for people who are heavy gamers or tend to appreciate larger sized laptops (larger than 13 inches), I do recommend it for the average college commuter, working business men and women as well as those who travel frequently.

Air is very light and thin. It looks very pretty. It's very convenient. And easy to carry with me. And the keyboard is fancy with light in darkness. I need to get familiar with Linux OS. It can be used to learn to develop iOS apps for iPhone and iPad. A good one for entertainment and study!

With the sleek, compact, and fashionable designs comes one downfall, the durabilty of the product, although the light 2.86 computer has less of a chance to break when closed.
