Great screen, performance, easy of usage, wow factor, battery life, keyboard, Aluminio finish, easy to upgrade mem and Hard Drive, beautiful anti glare high Def. Screen, kind of pricey up front but TCO lower than PC equivalents. Ease of Use Turn on and you are working in less than a minute. Support & Service Genious Bar are simply genius at giving service.

Windows? People still use that?

5

Of course the title is a little bit of a joke. I work in the IT industry and about 95% of our specialty software is not available on the Mac. But on a serious note this is the best computer I have ever owned. It will make you forget that PCs exist and you will forget what a "Blue Screen of Death" looks like, or how much panic it can induce when you see it. I bought my first mac about 3 years ago and I have been stuck on them ever since. The only real thing that sucks about them is the fact that they are more costly than the same exact hardware on a windows box. But I don't mind paying more for the absolutely perfect quality of the Mac. That's why it's called the "Apple Tax". The battery life is amazing on this unit too. It runs circles around my windows laptop with a cheaper lower-watt processor. This thing is fast, stylish and with Mac OS X it will make your computing experience the best it possibly can be.

The apple 15.4 in. Mac Notebook looks good to me!

Just like any apple product, This notebook is perfect for the use of all types of students and workers. The best thing is they don't crash as easy as a PC given that Apple is not corrupted as much as Microsoft.

Excellent 15.4 in. Mac Notebook

4

This Apple 15.4 inch Macintosh Notebook is excellent for those who want a large screen in their laptop. It is a little bit heavier as a result of the larger screen, but it makes for an excellent veiwing experience for all of those on the go movie watchers and gaming addicts. Macintosh laptops continue to show their supperiority over the competition in quality, design, safety, and speed. This is one of the fastest laptops I have ever used. The Apple 15.4 inch macintosh laptop loads programs and web browsing pages extremely quick. So even if you aren't into wathcing a lot of movies or playing intense first person shooter games on your laptop, then this larger screen can help you feel more at home with a larger "desktop" feel. I never have any problems seeing anything on my Apple 15.4 inch Macintosh Notebook. You can't go wrong with this purchase if your in the market for a laptop with a large screen!

not so bad

even though the laptop works well, it seems to be quite expensive for what it is is suppose to do. If it was up to me, I would just buy one of those laptops that do the same things and download free programs that are able to do the same things that this current laptop can do too. However, if this laptop is in use already, it seems to be petty good at doing what its suppose to do. Everything is done quickly and it does not show any sign of problems. I have talked to a few friends and the ones that do have this laptopsay that it is put to good use. And those that do not have this laptop say that they are perfectly fine without it and using their own. In general, I haev noticed that most of the people I know use either an toshiba, acer, or sony. Personally, I prefer using the sony, however that is a little on the expensive side as well. That is why I would have to say that I would recommend the acer

I love my Mac, It's Like My Best Friend!

I still remember the first day I got my Mac. It was a Christmas gift! The best one I've ever gotten. The minute I turned it on, I knew I would never go back to using a PC. There is just something appealing about the Apple company's products that gives the user that extra feeling of satisfaction that you can't find anywhere else. The sleek look, simple and easy to use interface...... It's just beautiful! My mac always runs at top speeds, too! It's fast, and definitely worth the price to pay for it. My Mac never crashes too, and the one time I have needed to get it fixed, the company had it sent back to me quickly and replaced the broken parts for free! Great customer service! The Mac is great to use for business or for fun, and it's lightweight feel makes it easy to take with you anywhere. Also, there are an endless amount of accessories to use on your mac, such as skins to place on top to give your mac a personal touch! They are most often very inexpensive, too! The mac is simply a computer that can not be beat.

Macs are awesome!

To be honest before I purchased this macbook, I always tried to avoid the macs that were available on campus.  I always tried to steer toward the PCs.  But one day, my hubby killed my PC.  It was sad, really sad, I barely had it for a year or two and he destroyed the video card.  It's still fine to use but the screen is dead and I didn't have a warranty anymore so I had to move on.  My hubby recommended we get a mac instead.  I was very against this since I didn't know how to properly use a mac.  When we did get it, I was trying to find any excuse to not like it.  After all, I didn't know how to use.  Once I got used to it, and after much searching on the internet to learn how to use it properly I fell in love with it.  I am proud to say that I am a mac owner for 3 years now.  It still runs fast and has a long battery life.  And and unlike my PC, it doesn't get viruses as often as my PC did.  My bottom line is sure macs are more expensive than PCs but it will last longer than a PC.

Another solid notebook from Apple

4

First and foremost, make sure that people are discussing and reviewing the same 15.4 in Mac notebook since the title of the product is a bit vague. The 15.4 inch Mac notebook that I had the pleasure of using was running an Intel i5 processor, which I feel to be the perfect balance (within Intel that is, I also love AMD) between performance and cost. The i5 processor is great and I prefer it over the i7 since today, performance is so great and people's demands have remained relatively flat. There is simply no need for spending more money on an i7 that offers unnecessary performance. An i5 is more than ample for today's consumers. My 15.4 inch notebook features just 320gb of harddrive space which prompted me to get an external drive. This laptop has four gigs of ddr3, which is fine. I wish Apple would use different graphics as I am not too fond of the GT 330M that they keep using over and over in their notebooks. Switch it up a little, Apple! Anyhow, this 15.4 inch Mac notebook is an excellent notebook with a strong processor at the helms.

Apple notebook is so so classy

5

The apple notebook is straight up classy. The graphics are incredible and stylish. It doesn't crash because most viruses cant affect it. It is also very fast. Sometimes it freezes but once you force quit it goes back to normal. A lot of people think it is difficult to understand but that is not true. It takes ten minutes maximum to understand it basics and learn how to use it like a pro. Very few programs don't work with macintosh but it is not that much of a big deal because you might not need such programs or they might be an alternative that will work with macintosh. The battery life is a just average. The number one disadvantage of this device is its price. If you don't have the money, then do not get it. If you have the money then definitely get it because it is worth every penny. The applications downloadable are way different from the p.c applications. Apart from the graphical interphase being better, there are more options. I would recommend everyone to get this device

Changing from a PC to a Mac wasn't so hard after all...

5

I used to just use PCs and no one in my family had a Mac, and then...my PC died.  So I decided to take the plunge and get a MacBook Pro.  Well, plunge it was not.  More like take the climb.  I love my MacBook Pro!  Sure switching from PC to Mac takes a little getting used to, but it's no different from getting a new phone or a new car, most of the functions are the same, but there are some small differences.  Same thing here, except I'd venture to say that I like the Macs more now that I have seen both sides.  The ease of use it there, the touchpad is awesome, and OS X is great!  It runs a lot smoother than most PCs I've used, and even though Windows 7 is a huge improvement on XP and Vista, I'd still rather stick to my MBP.  What else can I say?  Aesthetically, it beats out any other computer/laptop out there, it's sleak, clean, and simple in design.  Oh, and the body, since it's pretty much one piece, I don't have parts coming loose or pieces falling off.  It's really well designed.  When I'm done using this one, for sure I'll be getting the next gen. MacBook pro.  It'll be easy shopping!
