I have been using Refresh PM every night since 2000 because I ended up with severe dry eyes after lasik eye surgery. It has really helped keep my eyes lubricated throughout the night. The tube is small but you only need a tiny amount, so each tube lasts about 2 months with daily use. It does not sting when applied. I have also found that it is one of the few lubricants that doesn't leave your vision blurry all night. It coats your eyes and the blurriness leaves in about ten minutes. I have tried several other brands, but my eyes are very dry when I wake up, so I go back to the Refresh PM. I have also used it to remove any mascara and eyeshadow because I don't need to worry if it gets into my eyes. The price for the size of the tube is a little high but average for what this type of lubricant costs. It is available at most stores so it isn't difficult to find. If you have dry eyes this is really a great product for night time use.

When it gets cold and dry, one of my eyes constantly feels itchy and scratchy. I recently went to the eye doctor for my yearly eye exam and told him about the problem. He recommended that I try **Refresh P.M. Lubricant Eye Ointment** at night paired with Systane Eye Drops during the day, as needed. Both of these are over-the-counter items, but they aren't necessarily inexpensive considering the small package sizes. Regardless, I got them both and have been using them for about a week. I am happy to report that this regiment seems to be solving the problem. I apply a small amount of the Refresh P.M. ointment to the inside of my bottom eye lid each light before bed. Applying the ointment is harder than expected since the inside of the eye lid is moist and so the semi-solid, semi-liquid ointment seems to slide off before the application is finished. I guess this just takes some practice. Regardless, the ointment has helped keep my eye feeling lubricated all throughout the night until I wake up in the morning. It does feel a bit oily on the eyelashes and outside of the eye, but that isn't a big deal. I then use the eye drops throughout the day when my eye starts to itch. I am happy with this treatment overall so far as it really does seem to be working.
