I have had my AllClad slow cooker for over 15 YEARS. I have never been disappointed in anything I cooked in it. I use it 1 or 2 times a week, especially on Sunday's. I use it for meats, vegetables, deserts, baking, soups and stews. The heating element JUST went out. I will differently be buying another one.

I've tried a number of slow cookers throughout the years, and I must say that the AllClad Slow Cooker with Ceramic Insert is probably my favorite. There are a variety of different settings you can use, depending on just how slow you want to cook your food ... anywhere from 4-10 hours on a number of different heat settings. Regardless of which setting you use, the AllClad Slow Cooker provides a nice even cooking temperature throughout, you don't ever end up with any warmer or cooler pockets - everything comes out just the same, which is a huge improvement over some other slow cookers. The ceramic insert is also very easy to clean (as long as you don't let food cake on there) - with a little dish soap, it's good as new. We've made all sorts of different dishes in our AllClad Slow Cooker ... from soups, to pulled pork, to stews, to casseroles, and even sponge cakes! We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a high quality slow cooker.

This has ceramic inserts which I love. Not only does it evenly heat foods and liquids, it also prevents foods from burning in the crock pot as well. Regardless of which foods I put in it, whether it is beef, chicken, or just a rice dish, all foods evenly cook and do not stick to the ceramic pot. I also like the simple operation; it has four buttons on the front of the pot, allowing you to easily set the temperature, and set the cook mode, based on the foods you are going to cook in the pot. This is extremely easy to operate, it is error proof, and it cooks any food in the pot easily. Even if you aren't an expert in the kitchen (as I am not), this pot makes it extremely easy for you to make any dish, and won't ruin any foods as it properly distributes the heat in the cooker. Also, it has auto shut off so foods won't over cook if you aren't home, or if you forget about the dish you are preparing in the crock pot. An all clad iron exterior also means no burns, dents, or damage to the crock pot.

I got this as a wedding gift and ever since I received it I have fallen more and more in love with this and how easy it makes it to make dinner for my entire family. I work a lot, and am super busy so making sure I have something ready and prepared for my family is important and sometimes a difficult task to achieve. This is probably the only thing that has saved my family from many nights of take out, delivery, or fast food! I use this at least 4 days out of the week. The night before after dinner I start my next meal. I put everything that I need together in this slow cooker (my meats and vegetables usually) and I refrigerate it overnight. In the morning I plug it in, put it in and turn it on low to cook all day long while I am out of the house. When I get home by six, everything is cooked so tender and juicy and it always tastes delicious.I have never had a bad meal come out of this. It always cooks the food to perfection and my family is so happy. It is easy to take the ceramic insert out after dinner and wash it out really fast so I can prep the next meal in it.

I have a tendency to burn food because I don't add enough liquid or because the heat is too high, or because I get on the computer and just forget. But, this does not occur with my All Clad Slow Cooker, so it saves me a great deal of money, time, and expensive ingredients. This makes the All Clad Slow Cooker very cost effective for my lifestyle. When this was purchased several years ago, it was used to cook meat recipes very slowly and all day which reduced shrinkage and prevented burning. It has a heavy top so liquid does not evaporate. Now, my food style has changed. We are eating only organic meats and sparingly for make it last for the rest of our life. And, we are eating more beans and lentils in soups and stews with lots of high nutrient organic vegetables and grains. NO GMO's for us! Because of the quality food I purchase, I don't want to forget and have it burn. No problem with the All Clad Slow Cooker. As long as the timer is set correctly and there is enough water, I can start it early in the morning and have it finished cooking for a late dinner that night...or the next night, depending on what it is. So, this is really a cost effective way to cook and in a cost effective appliance. Another beautiful thing about the All Clad Slow Cooker is that it does not heat up the kitchen in the summer. It's been anywhere from 93 to 101 degrees outside, and we keep our house air conditioner set at 78 degrees. I try to keep the house as cool and as dry as possible without increasing global warming. The All Clad helps me do this because it does not heat up the kitchen, does not use tons of wasted fossil fuels, and cooks high quality recipes slowly keeping the nutrition inside. One last thing that I really like about the All Clad Slow Cooker: It is made from natural materials, and because of that, it is heavy. But, I bought it because the surface that comes in contact with the food is NOT plastic. And, it is easy to clean. Precautions should still always be used. I let the appliance totally cool down before carrying the insert to be washed as I do not want fast temperature changes to damage the insert. The exterior is wiped out with a damp cloth; never emerged.. I follow the directions in the manual explictly to prolong its life, and take special care with not using metal tools for stirring or cleaning. With care, this appliance should last for decades. It's worth every penny and then some because it's a quality item in our home. I love my All Clad Slow Cooker which I purchased after giving our daughter one for a wedding present, and seeing how useful it was for her, bought one for us.

I purchased my All Clad Slow Cooker and almost immediately began using it to make Italian Beef, Chili, and several other fantastic recipes. This slow cooker is tremendously easy to use and even more easy to clean. It cooks my favorite recipes very well and I've been pleased with the cooking results I've achieved thus far. On top of that, clean-up is a breeze. Even with baked on food from several hours of slow-cooking, the black-coated interior cleans off with surprisingly very little effort. On top of great cooking and easy cleaning, this product delivers with typical All Clad quality and a well-finished look. While expensive, if you enjoy slow cooking, this All Clad Slow Cooker is a great investment for your kitchen.

My husband does most of the cooking in our family and this was one of his "must have" items. We use it on a weekly basis and have not had any operating issues. We have owned our All Clad 6.5 Qt. Slow Cooker for two full years and it works as well as it did on day one. My husband often slow cooks chicken (breast, thighs, etc.) but sometimes we use it for pulled pork or other braised meats and it never disappoints. It is very very easy to clean which I really appreciate since our last crock pot appliance was not easy to clean and that definitely discouraged our use of it. We can easily store this appliance in our cabinets above the refrigerator. These allow for a bit more height than some cabinets but not much. We have to invert the glass lid in order to make it fit but it is light enough so it is not difficult to get it in and out when we need it.

The heavy duty slow cooker is a bit pricier than some but I couldnt be happier with my purchase. It is easy to clean and I've cooked many things that would normally scorch or develop crusts and so far they haven't. It is also easy to clean.

Let me begin by saying I a not a great cook but have used digital crock pots in the past and find they e ither cook too fast or don't heat evenly enough. I was a little on the fence about buying this model due to the fact I already had a digital crock pot and really how different could All Clad be? Boy was I wrong! So easy to set up and use, I didn't even read instructions! Cleans beautifully and the outside of the produce is a lovely bright stainless steel that looks so sharp I am keeping it on my counter all the time. HEats evenly and was a breeze to use and clean up. I can't ask for more. I was so impressed with All Clad I actually ordered cookie sheets and frying pans as well. I really love this product and promptly donated my other crock pot to charity after using this one time. My only wish or desire would that there was a built in clock to it that allowed it to kick ON at a certain time but I haven't fround a crock pot yet to do that. If you get this on sale, wow....

It's worth the money!  I often brown meat then transfer to the slow cooker base.  No extra pot cleaning necessary.  My family gets home cooked meals even on the nights I work thanks to this gadget.  There's no hot spot and it's so nice to avoid extra dishes to clean.
