The All-Clad Deluxe Slow Cooker was the one item I REALLY wanted when I got married last year.  I am a big fan of being able to prepare something the night before, plug it in in the morning and come home to a warm, fully cooked meal.  The Deluxe Slow Cooker, though definitely an investment, is well worth its price.  The beauty of the All-Clad Deluxe Slow Cooker is it has all the bells and whistles of the other All-Clad slow cookers however it has one great upgrade...the ability to put the insert on the stove in order to brown your meat (which is often necessary for slow cooker recipes).  This prevents you from using another pot to brown the meat...leading to fewed dishes after your meal (and who can complain with that).  This slow cooker is to the standards that All-Clad is famous for and I am expecting to use it for many, many years to come.  It has the convenient timer where it turns to warm after your cook time has expired, ensuring your meal will come out perfectly everytime.  I think you can only purchase this at Williams Sonoma?
