I had sinus surgery 30 years ago due to constant sinus headaches. I had a partial turbinectomy. I had never had sinus infections prior to that procedure, but after it I started having sinus infections that got worse every year, until they were constant. I had tried everything to clear and keep my sinuses clear and clear up the infections, which left me exhausted and feeling in a fog constantly. I found Alkalol online accidentally and ordered it on a whim. I didn't like using the little nasal cup that it came with, but used it with my twice daily neti pot saline rinse (1 tsp. each non-iodized salt and 1 tsp. baking soda to 4 cups water boiled for 5 minutes then brought to room temperature). At first, I tried 1 tablespoon Alkalol to each neti pot before using the rinse. I used this measurement for 6 months, then changed to 1 teaspoon per neti pot rinse twice daily. This cleared my constant infection and kept me clear and infection free for nearly a year and a half. I have not even had a cold, which I usually would get twice a year. I continue to use Alkalol twice a day, 1 teaspoon per Neto pot rinse in each nostril (with my sinus rinse I use, I am actually rinsing each nostril twice, alternating each side). I am so grateful for this product! I am infection free and can breathe again! I haven't had to go to any doctor! I can function normally again! I am not sick anymore!

I was told about Alkalol from a family friend. I had never heard of it. I went to a local pharmacy and had to ask for it. It was an independent pharmacy as all of the bigger pharmacies in town did not have it. It doesn't seem to be a well known product. The lady at the independent pharmacy however just raved about it. She went on and on. So I tried it. I keep a bottle on hand. I am a chronic allergy and sinus sufferer and it seems to work best during the pollen season. When I am sinusitis, it does not seem to help a whole lot though it does give your nasal passages that cool and healing feeling. It gives you that menthol feeling. Using the whole nasal cup with it and turning it up your nose is a bit frustrating but I am looking for relief, not style and technique. The first time I used it I made quite a mess of things but you learn how to use it after a few tries. It is worth a try. It's different, but worth a try!
