I love the way the shampoo cleans and hydrates my hair. A little goes a long way with this shampoo. You only have to use minimal amounts of the product for a full effect. I also like that the shampoo doesn't overwhelm you with heavy perfumes. The scent is clean and refreshing, and the green tea makes a difference with the health of your hair. Effectiveness For oily hair, I would recommend only using a very small amount because that is all you need. If you use too much of this product, it can make your hair more oily if you already have an oily hair type. I like the way this shampoo makes my hair have more volume and how it makes my hair feel refreshed. Scent The scent of this product is made to lightly refresh your hair and not to overpower your senses. If you are more sensitive to other product's scents, then I would recommend trying this shampoo. The green tea makes a difference with the health of your hair, and gives the shampoo a clear scent.

I would recommend anyone who is fond of their scalp and hair to stay far away from V05 products. As a child my mom would buy me this because it was cheap and at the time that is what we could afford. I was sent home from school because my scalp was bleeding so bad and my hair seemed to be getting thinned out. The same goes for my mom who also used this. Long story short it turned out that there was something in the v05 that was causing me to break out (non-allergic reaction). I tried using this product again about a year ago (I am now 23 years old) and the same thing seemed to be happening. My hair never seemed clean or smelled fresh. I used it twice and decided to throw it away. It did smell good while it was in the bottle but did nothing when it was put to use. This shampoo doesn't really lather well either. I definitely will be sticking with a better shampoo and conditioner and I suggest anyone who values their scalp and hair do the same.

I purchased this on a whim, having tried a few V05 products in the past.Where most shampoos can be overwhelming in scent and creating dryness with their ingredients, this cheaper brand does not. Surprisingly, it has given me better results than more expensive name brands and "natural specific" products I've tried in the past. Effectiveness This is a shampoo that catered to my top hair concerns--cleanliness and retaining moisture as I washed my hair. It cleanses and soothes scalp itch, without drying out the hair to a stringy or crunchy state. Lather is minimal, but coverage is pretty good. Scent Has a pleasant, soft scent that isn't heavily perfume-y like most hair products. Great for anyone with sensitive sinuses. It really does smell like you've got a cup of warm herbal tea in the shower with you. Days later (depending on whether you have hair requiring daily or weekly washes), the smell is still there. It's just as delicate as Elizabeth Arden's Tea Therapy, until your next wash.

I have not been very nice to my hair. I color it and brush it pretty hard every day. So, it has become somewhat damaged, especially the ends. But this shampoo does a good job of restoring shine and softness as it cleanses my hair and scalp and leaves my head feeling well treated. Effectiveness It cleanses my hair and scalp very well without leaving residues. And my hair is soft too. Scent But here is where it falls short. While not having a fragrance is not a deal breaker, I still do like a far stronger fragrance than this. Try as I might, I could not smell much of anything even when I opened the bottle and smelled it directly and deeply. All I could smell was a slight clean fragrance, but it was not like tea, which I was expecting.

I am a huge fan of Alberto VO5 Tea Therapy Smoothing Shampoo! I have very oily hair and within a day of washing it, it looks very greasy. When I use this shampoo my hair looks cleaner for several days. I don't have to wash it daily! It smells great too. It feels amazing too. My hair looks fresh, vibrant, bouncy, and healthy when I wash it with the tea therapy soothing shampoo. Scent Gentle, fresh, and natural scent!

I've tried lots of shampoos--from the most expensive salon brands, to much cheaper store brands, and I have to say that the only reason I tried VO5 Tea Therapy smoothing shampoo in the first place was because I needed shampoo one day, but went way over budget with the grocery shopping....so I just grabbed the VO5 shampoo after checking that it was for my hair type (dryer and frizz-prone), and bought it. It was really inexpensive..I believe it was on sale for only 79 cents!, so I wasn't really expecting much. It was just something 'til I could find my regular shampoo (which, btw, is a much more expensive Rusk shampoo). I tried it the next morning, and I was so surprised by the managability, softness and shininess of my hair, I never DID get the Rusk shampoo! Not only could I just comb through my hair right away without putting any leave-in conditioner in my hair, but when I blow-dried my hair, it came out just like I wanted it to, and I couldn't get over the shine! I usually put a few products in my hair before blow-drying it, but I didn't this time, and this was even after shampooing my hair in the shower twice (I usually only lather once, because of the dryness factor). I find that now I don't need as many products, and lots of times I let it air-dry, and don't worry about it getting all dried out looking. All I need is a bit of leave-in conditioner on the ends and my hair looks great. Who'd have thought such an inexpensive shampoo could work so great on your hair? Try it! You won't be disappointed!

alberto vo5 os great it smells awesome and it helps your hair alot. it makes look good and to me it makes it stronger and makes it shine. and when you smell it it calms and relaxes you. the lather is great to it had much  m ore lather than any other shmapoo i have used befor i only have to use a very little for my hair and thats it. and green tea is good for your hair also pretty much like you should drink green tea to. if any one asked me what shampoo to use it would defanitly be this one becasue its great for your hair and will help you to if you have hade a long day. I am a full time mom and my daughter is 19 months old and she keeps me on my feet all day and i take a bath at night when she goes to bed and i use my shampoo for my hair and i also use it for  a bubble bath when i dont have the bubbles and once i get in the tub i wash my hair and it just makes me feel great and i smell good to. i also use the condotioner as well and i use it on my daughrwe to and it help her sleep better at night i dont know what it is but it does it calms her down to she aint so hyper and running atound teh house she is ready to get on the couch and lay down and watch tv ready for bed pretty much and tell u the truth so am i

Alberto VO 5 rich green tea therapy smoothing shampoo This is a fantastic shampoo it leaves the hair smelling fresh and feeling clean and I love the fact that this shampoo is healthful and green tea so many other shampoos leave your hair dry and dull this shampoo leaves my hair smelling great and squeeky clean that I love.and the price is very inexpensive. I purchased this product because it was on sale at only 88 cents per bottle and I saw many different products and types with the same price but this caught my eye being HEALTHFUL GREEN TEA and also a therapy smoothing shampoo and being a fairly large bottle 15 oz. this is not  a trial size bottle like most.         I am trully glad I decided to try this now its my new shampoo.

 I have used Aberto VO5 many times throughout my life, but this is the first time that I have tried "Tea Therapy Smoothing Shampoo". I really liked the smell and I figured that in the past I have found that Alberto Vo5 has been pretty good so I thought that I should give this particular shampoo style a try. I have heard that green tea is full of antioxodants that are not only good when you drink them, but also can be just as good for your hair. This product even states that in thier add on the back of the bottle when it says "Experience the health and vitality of tea therapy infused formula for beautiful hair". It also states that "Smoothing formula with healthful green tea extract and Enhances normal to dry hair for maximum shine and manageability". I found that while using this shampoo my hair was shiny and manageable. I also really liked the price of the product with times being so tough for everyone,including me, I found it well within my price range and a true bargain.
