I've been using the St. Ives Fresh Skin Olive Cleanser for several weeks now, and I am not impressed. It works, but there isn't much else that can be said on the positive side of the board. My skin is left clean, although I have had more breakouts than usual, but there just doesn't seem to be anything wonderful about it. It does not foam up well, and so it seems to just sit there on my skin. Rubbing it in doesn't spread it or increase the nonexistent foaming action. My last cleanser created this pleasant tingling feeling as I rubbed it on my face, and I was expecting the same thing from St. Ives, but this particular product doesn't do that. It doesn't have any scrubby beads, either, but is very gentle on your skin. The best thing about this product is the price. It was very reasonable, which makes me feel better about being so unimpressed. If I don't have any good coupons or hit a good sale the next time I need to buy more cleanser, I might consider buying this product again - but otherwise, I'm looking forward to trying something new.

I have always suffered from sensitive skin, and most cleansers usually dry my face out to the point where it starts to flake. So I'm hesitant to try new body products, however my sister works in the beauty dept of a drugstore and brought this home, raving. I tried it one day and realized that it didn't make my skin feel tight or dry. I kept trying it and my skin always felt supple and clean and moisturized. That's when I was convinced that it was the cleanser for me! I still use it, about two years later. With skin as picky as mine, once you find a product that works, you stick with it. One thing I also appreciate is St. Ive's company policy about not trying products on animals and using more natural products. Those ideals resonate with me and while they don't mandate my shopping, they do make me feel better about the products that I do buy. All in all, I think this is a great staple cleanser that will leave your skin feeling great, day after day!

I found the St. Ives Elements at my local grocery store on clearance and I picked it up. St. Ives is known for being a quality products so I thought why not especially for the great price. I must say I was very excited after trying the product. It says that it deep cleans, leaving skin feeling moisturized with all natural ingredients. The product itself is made with olive oil and other natural ingredients like sunflower extract. It didn't leave my skin feeling dry like some cleansers that have alcohol in them. Also after using it my face felt clean without a residue feeling. It's quick to use and you can use it in the shower to quickly wash your face.
