I bought this monitor as part of a package deal when I replaced my computer. It was super easy to connect and we were up and running in no time. The picture quality is fantastic! I love to play hidden object games and I have no issues with using this monitor when I'm playing. It's the perfect size to sit on my small desk, but big enough so that you don't have to strain your eyes to see the screen. The flat screen makes things easy to see and keep in focus without making your eyes hurt and doesn't cause a headache like some people can get with the old-fashioned computer monitors, which was and is a huge deciding factor in us getting this particular model. The colors are perfect, not too bold and not too dim, and are very vivid and eye-catching. I've had the monitor since 2009 and have had absolutely no issues with it so far, nor do I anticipate any as it has been wonderful to this point. It's a great computer monitor and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a nice flatscreen monitor for just a little price!

This monitor was easy to set up and start using right away. Though others have said their monitors weren't immediately compatible with their computer, I did not have any video card problems. This is my first wide monitor and I really like the size a lot. The monitor arrived about a week after ordering on the exact date that the shipped predicted. The only complaints I have are 1) that the speakers have a tinny sound, with poor fidelity, and 2) that if the monitor is connected to a supposedly sleeping computer, it will sometimes spontaneously turn on. It is possible that my computers are all haunted. I suspect, though, that it's the monitor - perhaps a defect in this particular unit. It's not a big pain.

Acer is the first company that sold LCD monitors with a 3 year warrantee. Due to my experience as a computer technician, I was aware that when LCD monitors were first made, they needed repair after approximately one year of use. I purchased my Acer Monitor in May 2008 and it still works like new. It comes with both analog and digital connectors with an adapter to convert the digital cable to analog if you so desire. You are able to have to computers attached to one monitor at the same time. This comes in handy when you want to repair a computer without detaching the working computer from the monitor plus also handy if you want to attached a laptop to the monitor without disconnecting your desktop computer. This monitor has 4 auto display settings which are text, standard, graphics, and movies. You can change the display setting at the push of a button. This monitor is easy to setup and use. I am so happy with this brand I do not know if I ever want to try another brand.

I used to hate spending time on the computer staring and straining at the monitor! Now, using and playing on the computer is actually enjoyable for me again. The flat screen isn't hard on my eyes so I don't have to worry about headaches. The color quality and images are excellent. All and all I would definatley purchase another Acer Monitor in the future!

We purchased the Acer LCD monitor because our old montior stopped working.  Just looking at it I was a little intimidated.  I thought it cost an arm and a leg due to the flat screen and crisp and clear picture.  (My husband bought it without me.)  After speaking to my husband further he told the price and I was shocked how great of a vaule it was.  I was expecting 2 times what he told me he paid for it.  Which is wonderful news because we are on a strict budget due to the economy and not be sperging on items we should not be.  This product makes us feel like we did when we didn't.  I am still amazed at the picture quality and how easy it was to set up.  I am not a very tech savy person so it was a nice surpise to hear there was not a lot of things that needed to be done.  Having a nice monitor makes it seems like you have a new computer. Overall, I would recommend this product to any of my friends or family it is wonderful!

My son's monitor was growing dim on his Windows XP edition and with him getting ready to start taking college courses I gave him my 19" LCD and ordered the Acer 22" to add to my desktop. Since I have Windows XP Pro with Media Center the 19" was not quite large enough to watch TV or DVDs for my eye sight. It's not that I can not see on a 19" but with the 22" I don't have to sit right in front of the desk. I had read reviews on another site which stated the monitor was not very good but was better than other monitors I was looking at. FedEx dropped it off and with in five minutes I had it up and running. The color it much brighter than monitors I had looked at in office supply stores and there is no lag time causing ghost images during the play back of a movie ot watching cable TV. The settings are very easy to change for different types of use. I like my photo editing much better after having printed out pictures. The images are vivid, crisp and colorful on the screen and the printed picture as well where the other monitor seemed to show a crisp picture with the correct colors but the printed picture did not match. I had thought the change in the pictures were the printer and was considering taking the photo printer I had just gotten back and getting a different brand.

WOW !!! What a great monitor !!! It is almost as big as my TV !!! I could never go back to the old-school monitors now !! No glare, great coloring..... We are very happy with the monitor. Wish we would have bought it sooner !! Great value for the price.

This ACER monitor has a FANTASTIC quality picture and is SUPER CLEAR! It has EXCELLENT resolution and it SUPER easy to operate. This monitor out-performs much higher priced monitors yet you won't break the bank with this one. I recommend it to anyone that spends a good amount of time on their computer.
