Acer Aspires to be the worst
Within 3 months of purchase, my Acer died-shut down, went dark. I brought it for repair (not to Acer). After 5 repairs, I was told to go to the manufacturer (that time when it shut down, it would not re-start), and I sent it to Acer, for repair. It was returned "repaired"-it wasn't. I had to send it a 2nd time, because it kept shutting down in the middle of working on it, and it was again returned to me, Acer claiming that it was repaired, it wasn't. Since the 2nd return, it's died several more times. Time to trash this laptop!
