I ordered my Acer Aspire on Black Friday last year. I'm glad I did! I love it. The processor is very fast and it handles photos well. The only downside for me is that it's been hard to color correct the screen on it. This is most likely not an issue for an normal consumer, however I am a photographer and in order for me to be able to accurately edit images while on the road I need a screen that is correctly calibrated. The calibration setup via the windows 7 operating system leaves much to be desired, but thankfully the graphics card on the computer allows for finer tweaking (which I'm still working on perfecting). I do like that they system comes with a preloaded version of microsoft office. It is a limited version, but at least it's not one of those silly 90 day trials. I rarely use anything more than word and excel, so it works well for me. Overall I'd definitely recommend this computer. It is fast and the screen size is wonderful. The downside is the battery life isn't as great as I'd hoped, but thus far it hasn't been a problem.
