After a facial, my aesthetician recommended a few products which included Aveda's Botanical Kinetics Exfoliant.  This was the only Aveda product in her recommended lineup.  The spa where she works sells this product, but I did not feel like she was trying to steer me for a commission, as we have a long-standing aesthetician/client relationship and she recommended other product lines as well.  She recommended soaking a cotton pad and swiping over my face after cleansing at night only.  This product was to finish the cleansing process, reduce pore size, and exfoliate.  I have aging, acne-prone skin.  I followed her instruction.  The product is a clear liquid and smells subtle and refreshing.  It is cold going on and wipes away any remaining traces my cleanser missed, which usually is not much.  It also seems to completely clear my skin so it is ready to soak up my nightly moisturizer.  This final step in my nightly skincare routine is essential and I'm so sorry I skipped it in years past.  The whole regimine has made my skin glow, my pores appear smaller, my skintone more even, and gives my face a more youthful appearance.  I'm so happy with this product.  Although it is pricey, it's part of the routine I will follow for as long as I care about my appearance!
