Krista Barrett sends out weekly email newsletters about freelance writing. She is Canadian, but thanks to the Internet, freelance writing is universal. She starts the newsletter with writing news and personal news about her two children and her baby-to-be. A great thing about the newsletter is the section where you can promote your projects. Just send Krista an email about your project, and she will put it in that section. I don't know of any other newsletter that does that. Getting free promotion is very rare.

Her job list is extensive, and there is a contest section too. The only thing I don't like is she solicits donations. She's not the only one to do this, but I don't think it should be done unless it's for charity. Other than that, I look forward to this newsletter full of helpful information.
