Most HelpfulWii and Wii Fit were purchased for my family of five in February and we absolutely love it. There has never been a better video game console created for kids and parents alike. The Wii ables the family not only to interact together, but at the same time with the right games, offers physical interaction...

Most HelpfulI got the Wii for Christmas this year. The new technology is very cool, and waving your hands while playing is a lot of fun. I liked the Wii Sports that came with it, but very soon I was looking for new games to play. I got the Wii Fit board because I'm trying to stay fit. It takes a little getting used...
review »A word of warning playing tennis, bowling and baseball on the Wii requires a lot of space. It could be possible to harm your arm or another person by swinging wildly in too small and area. There have been reports of dogs and cats that were injured by a swing and friends given a black eye from a round house swing. Also important, is using the strap to attach the Wii remote to your arm. If not attached firmly this remote could become a volatile missile and could harm people or precious objects like your crystal chandelier or flat screen TV. Some of the older straps have broken and need to be replaced....
review »I got the Wii Fit as a Birthday present. One I had asked for. I'm approaching 40 and really needed to start looking for ways to improve my health. So I got this Wii fit, and the whole family registered a profile and we played a few games.
The next day I had a bit more time to spend alone with it, so I did the whole weighing in thing and it tells me I'm obese, ok I know I'm overweight and had a few pounds to loose, but if I actually got down to wear the game told me to be I would be unhealthily underweight. So that's the only down side I see to this so far.
The game itself it seperated into different...
review »The Wii and Wii Fit are fabulous additions to my home. My son was never interested in video games until he saw the Wii at his cousins. We both love the virtual reality aspect of playing games on the Wii. I especially like the sports. I think it's a lot healthier than other game consoles, because of the active element involved. The games are fun, and Wii Sports, especially boxing, provides real exercise. The addition of Wii Fit makes a great product even greater. I now use Wii Fit as my primary exercise program, along with the new EA Sports Workout program. It's a lot more fun, convenient,...
review »I am reviewing the Nintendo Wii Console and Wii Fit video game. First off the Wii is a great gaming system and good for losing weight for kids and adults. The Wii Fit game helps complement that. It has aerobics, yoga, balance games, and strength training. The running is almost like real running except it is not as hard. So if you like running but don't like the difficulty and heat of it, this is for you. The aerobics section also has hula-hooping, which can help burn those calories. Another thing it has is steps. It is just like walking up stairs except you don't have to. And the last thing,...
review »I first heard of the Wii on a show about losing weight. There were couples that used the Wii Fit, which is an excercise board and game, to lose weight. I checked into it having back trouble I needed to make sure that this would not hurt me. I used it at a local game store and loved it. I bought it and started using it. The way that you use it is most unique. When you hold the remote it registers with the TV using a sensor that you place at the top of your TV. You can bowl, golf, play Tennis. Even my elderly father loves to use the bowling game and when he woke up after the first...
review »My wife and i had purchased a wii gaming system over six months ago and wow we got the whole family up and moving. Our oldist would sit in front of the tv with a phone in hand and remote to the tv.Now with the wii he is up and more energetic.Myself and my wife both has seen a change in our activity as well.I weighed 290lbs and within 1 month of using the wii fit im down to 240lbs.Now whoever would think that losing weight could be so much fun.The controllers are great and you never have to worry about droping them. The games that wii has are great and very motavational. As for the Wii i gve it five...
review »The nintendo wii is in my opnion probably the best gaming system made so far. To be able to be active and not sity on the couch and play is the best thing . I mean come onbringing hand eye cordination with no having to sit down is great . Kids can play and not and you dont have to woory bout the couch getting worn down. Also the wii fit even makes it better due to yur balancing doing step arobics and moving back and forth . I know when i play being 30 years old that it can be almost as much of a work out as going to the gym. working up a sweat while trying to break my high score or the wifes score....
review »I love my wii fit. I took awhile to actually purchase this. I am on a weightloss journey and I run daily on my treadmill. I decided to get the wii fit to help track my weight. Originally I didn't think it would be much more then a tracker. However, once I got the game I began using it immediately. I First started as a "fun game" and quickly realized you can get a workout on this. As long as you focus and try hard at what you're doing. I find the yoga to be really beneficial to my body and it's flexibility. This pairs really well with my cardio on the treadmill. The fit also seems to be pretty accurate...
review »We have had a Wii for about 2 months now and our entire family loves it. My 4 year old son loves to play Mario Kart on the wii along with our older children, 10 & 12, who also love the pay Mario Kart & bowling. We recently had one of our friends bring over their Wii fit so we had a chance to try it out. I really enjoyed the information it gave me about my current health status and also the ability to set a goal. The games or "exercises" that are on the Wii fit are really fun so you don't feel like you are working out. My husband also tried to Wii fit and immediately wanted to go out and buy one....
review »The controllers use up batteries fast. The "physical age" the system comes up with after weighing and the sense of balance test tends to be un-realistic. So far everyone who tried my Wii/ Wii Fit is rated 20+ above real age. even for my 3-year-old niece! Maybe that's just a way that the Wii designers is trying to get people nervous and start excersing!
I hope the prices come down for the Wii and Wii Fit. The games that Wii come with are great. One would have a great time without ever buying additional games. This is definitely the ONE game system that revolutionize the way people play...

review »This review is for the Wii game system and Wii Fit. My husband is the video gamer. He bought the Wii system over a year ago just for entertainment use in the living room, especially when we host a party with friends. However, in the last few months, I have been using the Wii and Wii Fit for exercise during my pregnancy. I can keep track of how much weight I have gained. The yoga and stretching exercises on the Wii Fit are excellent for giving me a little exercise while helping me not to strain myself too much.
I recommend the Wii Fit system for others, not only expecting mothers. The other games...
review »I purchased a Wii Fit after having Gastric Bypass. I think it was the best choice in exercise equipment I have used the last 10 months. It allows you to take a daily test and track or monitor your progress. It graphs your weight loss/gains and your BMI for you, as well as giving you balance tests and letting you know where you stand Balance wise.
You are able to add Yoga, aerobics, balance games, and others to your workout and you choose which ones you want to use. There are some unlocked and the more you use the Wii fit the more games and exercises you unlock.
I am so glad that I got...
