I have done weight watchers in my past and I lost 32 pounds, just from watching my food intake and back then I did Tae Bo. I am not normally over weight. At the time I was weighing in at 160 lbs. I should be about 130 lbs. So, I looked really good. At least I thought so.
But, with so many new problems, deaths in the family, quitting smoking and everyday stress from home, work and life in general. I put weight back on. So, I started back on Weight Watchers, I lost about 17 lbs. so far and I am not doing any point systems. I do however, eat the Weight Watchers meals. But, I drink a lot of water or Crystal light. I'm down to one or half of a bottle (20 oz.) of Pepsi. Regular Pepsi. I cannot drink diet soda, I get very sick and who wants to sit in a bath room all day. Not me!
I enjoy the diet. It has so many options to choose from. I just choose not to count points. I can how many pieces of pretzels or rice cakes I can have. But, I don't write it down anymore. I don't belong to a club, just friends at work. We encourage one another which helps a lot.
Also, I have been doing some of the upper Tae Bo exercises, my Proform Recumbent Stationary Bike and I walk or take the stairs as much as I can. All I do is watch what I eat and how much. I eat a lot of free foods, which are yummy and healthy and I watch my portion sizes. That's it and it works! Cutting back on soda and tea, makes a huge difference too! Finding a picture of when you were thinner, gives me a lot of incentive too. You would be surprised!
