I tried weight watchers, unsucessfully for over two months.  I found it to be an OK price, per meeting fees, weekly weigh ins, and rather expensive food and books available.  The thing that really didn't work for me was the fact that it was all about food.  Food food food 24-7, it made feel obsessed with it.  I constantly had to keep track of everything I was eating writing it down, and figuring out how many points it was.  I had to drag a book, calculator, and other material around with me everyday.  I did lose 10 pounds, but was just way overthinking eating.  I decided to try something different and joined a gym, Curves, a circut training approach, and then after a few months of exercising I decided to try to change my eating habits, and with their easy approach of glycemic index eating, I never crave the bad foods, and find it so much easier.  Eating now is a no brainer, and I do not need to drag anything around with me daily to keep track of everything.  I do plan ahead and prepare my food for the week on Sundays but other than that I don't need to think about it again.  And with all of that I've lost over 30 pounds, and with the exercising over 30 inches, in 6 months.  I just didn't like weight watchers at all.
