old, dirty and has bugs
conscious of credentials, appreciative of good service

The hospital is old. Most units don't have in wall suction. A separate cart with a GOMCO machine that at best isn't particularly good has to be wheeled into each bed that needs it and sometimes there aren't enough to go around. Also no matter how many times they have sprayed for bugs, they can't get rid of them. Thank God that they are building a new hospital soon.

The worst hospital stay of my life.
value conscious, interested in comfort

While some of the nurses were excellent, the doctors simply did not listen to me and my concerns.  I felt more like a prisoner than like a patient at the birth of my child.  Very terrible experience overall.
