Just a few days ago I had a stuffy nose, and thought that I might be catching a cold.  Before taking pills, or powders, I went to the bathroom cabinet, and there was an Eckerd Medicated Chest Rub. It is exactly the same as the brand name, and with all generics, so much cheaper.  It comes in a 1.75 ounce (50 g) jar. As soon as I unscrewed the top off the jar, I could smell the warmth of the menthol, eucalyptus, and camphor. I put my finger into the jar and just put a small amount around the outside of my nose.  Immediately I could breathe through my nose, and didn't feel stuffy anymore. That night, just before bed, I put a little of the Eckerd Medicated Chest Rub on the top of my chest area, and around my throat.  I had a great night's sleep. By the following day I didn't need to use it anymore.  I love the fact that I didn't have to take pills, as it is bad enough taking the ones that the doctor prescribes. This is also a relief for minor muscle aches and pains, so it replaces another product in our bathroom cabinet. Don't pay for brand, the generics work just as good. Congestion Relief I could breathe normally. Chest Congestion Relief I was able to have a good night's sleep so it worked for me. Relief of Aches & Pains I really didn't use it for this. Cough Suppression Must have worked because I fell asleep.
