I was recently looking for a lower cost option to use to supplement my regular mouthwash. This is why I decided to pick up a bottle of Up & Up Antiseptic Mouthwash with Tarter Protection from Target. Overall I was very leased with my purchase. There were many things I liked about this mouthwash. One thing I liked was the fact that the ingredients in the Up &Up mouthwash were very similar to those in my name brand mouthwash. I also liked the taste of these mouthwash and found it not to be too overwhelming. In addition, I liked the fact that the product gave me nice, fresh breath (when used with my regular toothpaste). I also liked that this product saved me a little money and the bottle lasted for awhile. One of the main reasons I didn't give this product a 10 is that I didn't think the breath freshness lasted as long as some other products I've used. Also it didn't save me that much money because I can get name brand products pretty cheaply with sales and couponing.

I love Target's Up and Up Brand. It produces great quality products time and time again. This is one of their quality products. It is an antiseptic version of mouthwash and definitely makes you feel as if your mouth is getting a total and complete clean. I think that this "feeling" comes from the spicy feeling that comes with using it. I get this with most of the cheaper, run of the mill mouthwashes out there, so it came as no surprise to me. However, I wish that Up and Up would come out with a gentler wash so that my mouth wouldn't be screaming afterward. I still gave it an eight rating because it leaves your mouth feeling very, very clean. I would just rather it be very, very clean without the incredibly spicy taste. I will probably buy this in the future though, because I know that there are not a whole lot of gentle mouthwash formulas out there. Also because, taste aside, it is a quality product.

I have a problem with bad breath and have found that the only thing that helps is washing my mouth out and using a tongue scraper every night before I go to bed. I really like to use listerine but love that the up and up brand doesn't cost as much. When I swish with up and up antiseptic I feel a nice little burn while swishing, a nice fresh and clean taste for a couple hours after, and cant rest assured that when I wake up in the morning, I'm not going to feel like I have a layer of funk growing in my mouth or hear my four year old complaining that my breath stinks. I also like to swish in the morning when I am short on time and haven't brushed my teeth. The only reason that I didn't rate up and up brand a ten is because I don't think it tastes as good as the listerine brand. But unless I have a coupon for listerine that makes it the same price or cheaper than the up and up brand I don't mind the taste difference enough to not save money with the up and up brand.

I am always one to try out the cheaper, store brand products in an attempt to save money. I am also very picky with my mouthwash and really any other product I use in my mouth. I hate the medical taste most mouthwashes have. The burning sensation that is supposed to make you feel satisfied and clean is very annoying to me. I actually hate it. The best part about this Up and Up mouthwash is the flavor. It is much less harsh than any other products I have purchased in the past. It still leaves my mouth feeling and tasting fresh and clean but it does not leave my mouth burning at all. I love this mouthwash and will be buying it again in the future. It is a great price and still have great antibacterial and tartar protection for my mouth. If you are looking for a clean mouth but hate the medicine tasting, harsh mouthwashes on the market you should definitely try Up and Up. The plastic of the container is thinner though, so be careful pouring your first few cups of mouthwash!
