This is generic for Sudafed PE, which is a less effective dose than regular Sudafed. I have tried a lot of over the counter medicines for post nasal drip and so far this one is the most noticeable difference on my body. And, to my joy, the cheapest. I haven't tried the full strength Sudafed/generic Sudafed yet but I assume it would be even better. It does last about 4 hours and I can definitely tell when it is wearing off. The only minor downside so far is just feeling a little too dried out in my sinuses. So drinking more water is helping with that.
