Winter is on it's way here in the northeast and for me that means dry, itchy skin! Especially on my legs. What do you use to take the "itchies" away?

I dont use anything specific, just whatever lotion I can find around my house :)  Mostly I try to stay warm to avoid the itchy skin!

I just happened to write a review on my favorite moisturizer a minute ago. Neutrogena Body Oil is how I keep my legs from getting so dry and itchy in the winter.  I wear jeans alot which makes the problem worse.  This is a fabulous product.  Try it.

I've been meaning to write a review on this stuff.  It's made my Avon and it's the Avon Moisture Therapy Intensive Extra Strength Cream.  It is thicker than regular lotion, and IT WORKS!  It's only around $ 7.00 too.

I did a review last week on PhysAssist Foot Pain Cream. This cream is mainly for pain, but it also keeps my legs and feet from getting so dry and itchy.

I exfoliate a lot and I use lotion right when I get out of the shower - it helps lock in the moisture. jasyjen mentioned the Avon Moisture Therapy Cream. It's awesome! I love that stuff and it's cheap.

New England can be brutal on winter skin.  A favorite in these parts is something called Bag Balm.  Still made in Vermont, It was originally made for cow's udders.  It can now be found in country stores, drug stores, ski resorts and anywhere that sells dry skin products.

I use a system called Obagi. My face is never dry. My legs are another story. They don't get itchy but dry. I'm not loyal to a lotion yet since I haven't found the magic one but I keep trying. Shea Butter so far has been the best.

I'm the same way - my legs get dry not itchy; the colder the weather the worse they are. I find I can alleviate this a great deal by drinking more spring water and keeping up with vitamins and healthy food and more avacados.

I like Shea Butter also and I remember some of my relatives using Bag Balm. They swore by it. Aveeno products have been good too but I would like to use more organic natural products.

A cream I recently started using will be my new winter favorite so far. I use it on a couple of callouses or if I get rough skin on my heels with immediate results. If I use it during the day I use only my fingertips otherwise it leaves a coating on my hands. I use it at night for my hands to keep them soft (If I'm sleeping I don't care about the coating) It's Jason 25,000 Vitamin E Age Renewal Moisturizing Creme. Very rich. I'm working on my draft of it today.
