I'm a little surprised to see that my most popular review is for a light truck tire. I wrote the review several months ago but it is my most popular review by a healthy margin, exceeding even some electronic items that I thought would be really hot. In two weeks, that tire review has gotten 220 hits, and another tire review is in my top 10.
What is your most popular review?

I'm also shocked - my most popular is one of the first I ever wrote....for my mattress, of all things! I received so many messages about that one. I guess it's something everyone needs, at one time or another.

Mine is for FitFlops - "revolutionary" flip flops that work your leg muscles as you walk. Hot on its heels though is the 100 Ways Vics's Secret Bra! LOL. My top 10 is changing as days go by but those two review remain fixed at 1 and 2.

So far my most popular has been on a cat litter, but I expect that to change after the stats have been calculating hits for a few weeks. Then I fully expect some of my other reviews to rise to the top.

Okay, guys -- I'm back! There was the "Stats" button all along and undoubtedly where Jolie probably told me it would be! Anyhoo, my most popular review was -- believe it or not -- Amy's Cheese Pizza! No less than 129 people checked that one out! Second most popular was my review of "The Great Train Robbery" with 108 looks (including at least one from George Chabot, who hated that movie! HAHA!) This website is so much fun, honestly I'm having a really great time here. Have a nice day everyone. I'm going to bed where most people are by now.

Mine was a string yard trimmer, but it is that time of year. State Farm jumped ahead of that in the last day or so. Both are one star reviews, so I guess folks like to read about what I don't like.

Diapers....
Even though it was written almost a year ago now. Not very many of my products are highly seached though so it doesn't surprise me they are fairly low so far.

Mine is Dr. Bronner's Peppermint Soap by a large margin which surprises me when I've reviewed things like the iPhone, Nintendo Wii, etc.

The stats only go back to April 24th... so we have no idea what's really out most popular review....but in terms of what has been opened and looked at the most since April 24th.
I'm delighted to see that several of the poems under Misc. that I put onto this site get looked at by people somewhere out in internet land.
Top hits for me since April 24th is . . . Best Romantic Comedy Films only 8 helpful votes but 163 look and sees.
Be interesting to see what happens with a just opened high profile movie like Speed Racer that I just reviewed. (No Speed Racer No -- don't go).

As of today, since 24 April 2008 my most popular review is Best Romantic Comedies: My Top List. It has over 100 hits and 9 Helpful votes. Next runner up is my sole TV review, a radio drama script is third, and my new List of the Best Romantic Movies and a review of an Indiana Jones movie round out the top five.

I think Cyndi raises an interesting point... these lists will be driven by seasonality. Peoples patterns change daily. ;) Also, it is often the obscure products that come to the top- like Peppermint Soap because nobody else on the web has them. So, you get exclusive rights to eyeballs. :) heheheheh.

I have one question -- will the stats change automatically as time goes by or does someone have to manually update them from time to time? Whoever set them up in the first place did an awesome job. Five stars for them!

I think, Mike, HDTV reviews will be top 10 material at least till Feb. 2009, so that's pretty much a sure thing as far as hits go. New movies, especially big summer movies, are also good for stats.

I have gone over 1000 reads on FitFlops as of today. (1021). That's crazy! I have not reviewed them anywhere else and I think that maybe reviews of these exercise shoes/flip flops are hard to come by. Or someone has linked me. The reads are going up like crazy day by day. Of all things... lol. T'is the season though and they are back in stock. They were sold out pretty much all last summer.
Rudi, you ARE the mattress guy. You do a service for people because I know when I go to get a mattress, I am completely lost as to where to start let alone what to buy. I love your reviews!

My top review is for Wen Cleansing Conditioner which is kind of a hot personal care product so it doesn't really surprise me. What does surprise me is that my #2 review is for Dove Energy Glow Moisturizer which doesn't seem that hot but maybe it is seeing as how summer is approaching.

The stats are programmed to update automatically. Thank goodness it's not manual!! That would be painful :) Thanks for the compliments, AnnaBanana... our entire tech team set up the stats capability while Vytas (the bringer of the pretty) made them look really nice & user-friendly.

I'm surprised that my most popular review is the one about our new mattress. It has about 157 hits! When I wrote that I thought for a second that no one would read it, but I guess I was wrong :)

Ha! The hits are climbing for that review. There are many other reviews on them so I don't know why my hits are so high. Of course, the other people's reviews also may have as many reads. It is scary because I forget people are reading what I write and taking my advice. I just hope I do right by people when I review things. I try hard to see all sides of things.

There are at least three of us with lots of hits for mattress reviews. I'm guessing that, since mattresses are so very expensive these days, people do a lot of research before buying one. I know I got lots of messages from people saying that they had no idea haggling was even an option at a mattress store.

My most popular review is for Almay Smart Shade Foundation. It is understandable since it is a fairly new product. My second most popular is for the website, Inbox Dollars. That one actually surprises me! I have no idea why it is so popular. How strange. There sometimes is really no rhyme or reason I guess! :P

In the "no rhyme or reason" department, my review of a ho-hum movie called "The Contract" is unexpectedly popular. It's quickly leaped into my top-10, although I just reviewed it last week. Very strange.

As of today, my top three haven't changed. My two lists of romance flicks are still in the top two, with my HDTV review in third. The only change from last week is that the radio script has been edged out by not one but two Indiana Jones movie reviews, with another Indy review nipping at its heels!

As the weather gets warmer, I am seeing reviews of things like cellulite products (that don't work), self tanners, summer sandals, fans, and even certain websites that sell clothing moving up. Mattresses must get a motherload of hits because my cheap mattress foam topper is #7 on my list with a lot of reads. I love the stats. It's fun to see what people are reading and perplexing at times. Like discontinued Hanes Tights are up there. WHY? I don't even think they are selling anymore. But I'm happy as long as people are reading anything of mine!

I betcha anything that once Indy fever dies down after May 22, anything to do with the Man in the Hat will be relegated to...not quite obscurity but still shunted off to the lower depths of irrelevance.
Mattresses...I think those will always be popular.....
