This game is very simple.  Answer the situation posed, and then come up with an off the wall "would you rather?" question of your own.

For Instance:

1st person: Would you rather not wear shoes for a month OR go without a shirt for a day?

2nd person:  Put what you'd rather do here.

Then ask a new question for the next person.

*************************************************

Would you rather eat only peanut butter & jelly for a month OR eat nothing but bologna for a week?

They say it's easier for a boy to deal with the pregnancy because all he has to do is go home and take a shower.  The girl has to be on public display so the shame or reproach is probably stronger for her.  I don't know if I would want the responsibility of having to help raise my daughter's child or if I was the mother of the son, begging the girlfriend to let me have time with the grandchild.

I would choose first option because if you are attempting to shut a child up you may be able to negotiate around some things.  If you give the child everything without them even asking then you are the "spoiler."

Think battered woman syndrome: Would your rather walk away from your abuser and lose everything you ever worked for (home, social status, career, etc.) OR would you rather stay in a CDV relationship for financial security, status quo, etc.?

Walk away from my abuser and lose everything that I've worked for. Even if I wanted to stay with him, I think my family and friends would drag me away from him.

You just won the Lottery ($100 Million): Would you rather keep all of it and NOT share any of the $$$ with family or friends OR keep half of the $$$ and then give the other half to several of your favorite charities?

I would share it with my family and a poor aunt but that's it. :D

Would you rather write a script for a movie or be a movie producer?

I would want to write the script--I love to write and I wouldn't think you would have to interact much with everyone.  I think producing the movie for be more demanding.

Would you rather do everything that is legally correct but have no ethics OR do everything that is ethically correct but disregard the legal obligations.

Gigi, but if you choose to write but not produce... what do you do when the producer starts changing your "vision".  I always think of that, how the movie people totally change what was written.

I would choose the ethic one b/c technically I think if you are being ethical you are *usually* following the law.  And if it's against the law to have morals then, I'd rather be breaking the law!

Would you rather have to choose only 1 site you can visit each week (you can repeat sites but not in consecutive weeks so essentially you'd be forced to take 1 week off)  OR  only be allowed to visit each site on your list once a week (how long you stay on during that 1 visit a week is up to you though!)?

I would choose one site each week.  I live for Viewpoints and amazon.  I would come to viewpoints and then IF I "needed" amazon I would have a friend go there for me.  But I interact at viewpoints so no one can take my place or go there for me.

I have to see a clt. in 30 mins. so I'm only online briefly.

Would you rather lose your job without notice but be given a severance package OR be told you have 3 months to find another job but there is no severance package?  (not sure where that random thought came from or why--guess, cause it's just "random.")

That's a hard one b/c both have been happening left and right around here.  I think Id rather the severance package b/c usually they also offer some kind of help finding another job too.

Would you rather wake up before the sun and always go to work in the dark OR leave work after the sun sets and always go home in the dark?  (either way knowing the dark makes you feel sleepy and not productive)

I actually do the first so since I have gotten used to it I will choose that option.

Would you rather have a child that is so honest he/she is always embarrassing you OR a child that is always lying and you can't even get the truth out of him/her.

I actually currently don't have sun on the way to work OR on the way home!

I'd rather the honest child b/c I can always teach them to hold it in until they get home where as the lying one you could never trust.

Survivor.... would you rather ONLY be able to compete in reward competitions, but be forced to trust the others not to vote you out   OR   would you rather ONLY be able to compete in immunity challenges but never have a chance to win a reward?

Believe it or not, I have never watched Survivor but I would want the chance to win an award.  Otherwise, I wouldn't understand the purpose of competing.

Would you rather watch a musical on TV OR a live production?

Well Gigi, making it to the end of Survivor is important b/c the final person there gets the 1mil$ prize :)  So that would be the purpose since you never saw it, now you know.

Live of course, I love musicals.  I'm changing my would you rather since no one answered the one I had yet and I got a better one based on paying my bills!

Would you rather send a little extra cash towards your mortgage and car payment to save on Interest in the end, but be a little bit more stressed about money right now  OR  pay only what is due so you have more free flowing cash to spend, but end up paying more total in the end?

If I have the cash, all at once.

If you were given the money for it, would you go to a community college OR a private university?

I went to a private university for 2 years.  See my review on Tennessee Temple University.  I would choose the private school option again.  I had a wonderful experience there.

If you could be off from work or school at least one day a week without penalty would you rather be off on Monday OR Friday?

I'd rather be off Monday because it's a much harder day at my job than Fridays are!

Would you rather play with an old set of golf clubs that you can use well or have a nice shiny new set to show off with your buddies?

Would you rather see a movie during the week or at the weekend?

Weekend, I just feel it's a weekend thing and usually am not in the mood to go during the week after work

Would you rather... plan all your vacations yourself and just have your family come and do what you planned   OR   have someone else plan everything out and you can just show up?

Would you rather have a chef cook for you for one week OR a maid to clean your house for one month?

a chef, but I'd watch him and ask him tons of questions and take notes so I could learn as many tricks as possible :)

Would you rather go to school to learn a new skill but also have to learn other irrelevant things while you are there  OR  learn it on your own over time but make some mistakes along the way?

OOh very smart idea. :D

First one.

Would you rather have a mansion OR a single story house?

single story.  I always felt the bigger house would just be scary.  When I come home alone, I always check the whole house, closets, and showers real fast.  So... if I came home alone to a mansion, I'd be doing that for an hour :)

Would you rather free lunch with strangers at a GOOD restaurant   OR  expensive lunch with friends at an OK restaurant?

expensive lunch with friends--I'm so picky it doesn't matter but the key word is FRIENDS.

Would you rather be stuck in a hayloft for several hours because there is a raging bull in the barn below OR be stuck in an elevator for several hours with a paranoid schizophrenic who is hearing voices and has the potential to drive you crazy?  The first happened to my sister and me and the second happened to me and some college friends at the university medical center.

the hayloft, at least you got fresh air, you can lie down and take a nap, and can try to sneak out when he falls asleep :)  I hate elevators.  After you experienced both, which would you prefer?

Would you rather wake up thinking it's Friday but then remember it's really only Wednesday  OR  wake up thinking it's Wed but then remember it's really only Monday?

In response to vivasuzi's post from December 12 2008 12:28PM

I would prefer the hayloft b/c I was with my sister and we just sat and talked and played until someone found us.  Lucky for us we were younger and took our dolls and coloring books with us because we thought we were going to use "Grampa Berry's" loft as a playhouse.  My brother came and found us and went and got my dad and "Grampa Berry" to get us out.  The elevator experience was funny at first because my friends and I were laughing at the "crazy" person but the longer we were trapped the more annoying it became and I started getting nervous about what this individual might do.

I would choose the first option on your question because at least you have hit the mid-week hump and are closer to Friday ;+)

Let's go to the movies: Jack versus the new Benjamin Button movie.  Would you rather be born young and age rapidly like Robin Williams in Jack OR be born old and get younger as you "age" like Brad Pitt in the Benajmin Button movie?

Either way cuz I don't work the normal Monday thru Friday schedule... my work load is feast-or-famine and not consistent. However, I choose waking up thinking it's Friday, just because it sounds better than Monday ;=}

Would you rather go over Niagara Falls in a barrel or walk on a high wire strung between two skyscrapers?

Another late jump in LOL!

I never saw Jack, but I think I'd rather age rapidly like Jack, because there is too much peer pressure, etc. when you are young... and you'd have no friends if they thought you looked old.

I post my Question again:

Would you rather go over Niagara Falls in a barrel or walk on a high wire strung between two skyscrapers?

In response to rulistenin's post from December 12 2008 02:21PM

For the jack/benjimen one, I'd choose the benjimen one.  Jack was sad :(  He was like a 10 year old at heart but 40 year old body... so you can imagine parents didn't want him around their kids.  Going the other way would mean you gain experience as you get younger so you can enjoy your younger years with more knowledge!  But I'm curious how that movie ends... does he go back IN the womb?? haha

Niagara falls in a barrel b/c at least there would be water to soften the blows.

Would you rather.... have major fun plans, but have to drive through a snow storm to get there   OR   have exceptionally great winter weather, but have no plans?

Would you rather....have a year subscription People magazine or Entertainment Weekly?

I guess the Flintstones.

Would you rather be friends with Winnie the Pooh or Mickey Mouse?

Mickey Mouse.

Would you rather prep&cook the holiday meal, or hand-wash all the dishes?
