I have won the Simple Thanks Award once. I don't know if members are eligible for second awards or if a certain amount of time has to elapse before you can win again. Does anyone know??

I received one a year or so ago. 

Nothing in writing says how long, but I know there are a few that have recieved it twice since they have been here for quite some time.

I won the award in July. It was quite a nice surprise. Not only did my family get a wonderful meal and find a new favorite restaurant through it, but we got to add two more reviews to our list.

I won one in December. I'd just started here, too, so earning the Simple Thanks award so fast was really surprising....,and special.

I won it earlier this year I think (or was it last year? *thinks*). I used it to buy more anime lol

It seems to me that the awards are given out more to new writers.  I remember receiving mine right after I joined, it's what kept me coming back.  I felt "appreciated."

We try and mix it up with new and old.... but we always want to recognize people in our community with a little surprise. :)

I won one a long time ago. It rocked. I bought a fitness DVD and reviewed it here and had $5.00 left to buy blush. :)

I won a STA last month, I had been with VP about 6 months by then. . . we ate out at a new restaurant that was a cross between Hoosters and a Scottish theme. Let's just say good thing neither of my girls was nursing or they would have been confused by the buffet of choices available.  Not to mention the itty bitty teeny weeny handkercheif size "tartans."  It was great fun and I will go back again -- without the kids!

I won it :)  It was funny b/c I saw my friends win it when they were both new to the site, but mine took longer.  I was very excited when it happened!  It's nice to be randomly noticed and I like how almost anyone can be noticed, newbies and oldbies alike.

I won the Simple Thanks this week. I was very excited and surprised when I was notified. I just printed out my restaurant certificate today. I am going to take my best friend to lunch, her birthday is this month.

I think it is wonderful that Viewpoints does this.

Congratulations to everyone!  I think it's so rare to be a part of a website that recognizes it's members.  It's obvious that it made us all feel special.  Thanks for sharing.

I joined quite a while ago but really haven't been active on viewpoints. Today I actually took sometime to look around. I am thrilled to learn about the Simple Thanks awards.

I won it a couple of weeks ago. I was so happy (and still am). I hardly ever win anything or get to treat myself, so this was very special to me and meant a lot.

I was able to order 2 bags of coffee beans, cookies and biscotti from Boca Java. It was a real treat!!

I won the Simple Thanks Award in September and replaced a bath rug with my e-gift card.  I was also a featured contributor and writer.  It appears that we are grouped into communities by where we live.  I initially thought I was with Jolie but I somehow linked with LisaCarey and Meredith. Anywho--I don't think we can view all STA recipients, only those in our community.  Reason I believe this: When I am on other profiles I will see a congratulations for something and when I go back to my home page and community the individual isn't listed.
