Okay, I love playing these kinds of games!  Here's how you play:

I will start with a "What would you do if...?" kind of question.  The next poster has to answer the question, and then come up with a "What would you do if...?" question of their own. Then the next poster answers the question, and so on.

Okay, let's start!

What would you do if... you woke up and the roof was missing?

....roll over and go back to bed and hope I was dreaming :-D  I'm not a morning person!

What would you do if... a solicitor wouldn't stop knocking even after you ignored it for 20 minutes?

Continue to ignore it.  Our house is normally quiet--so really he/she could, perhaps, assume soon that we are not home.

What would you do if.......someone rings your doorbell near midnight  for a random pattern of nights then gets out of sight/off porch from your protected view?

call the cops!  That would be scary and annoying too.  Oh wait a minute, I would do nothing b/c our doorbell is disconnected :-D  Haha I guess I'd never notice!

What would you do if.... your coworker, a few doors down, had people in his/her office chit chatting all the time (as if there was a party going on)... and it's very distracting??

I would go into their office, and say, "Hey guys!  Looks like you're getting a lot of work done here, what with all the chatting and laughing I've been hearing.  Anyway, I'd appreciate it if you'd save your little 'party' for after work, because some people, including me, actually care about their job and want to do some work once in a while. Thanks!" Ha ha, so sarcastic and rude!

What would you do if... you were standing in a long yet thin hallway, minding your own business, when a shirtless, creepy man starts running towards you at full speed?

I'd sing, "STOP in the name of love - before I break your heart...."   then I'd trip him and say, "HA!   told you I'd break your heart - you thought I didn't know the words!"    OK - not really - I'd probably paste myself against the wall and hope he would just get out of the way.  Yeah, I'm chicken like that.

What would you do if..... Your car had a flat tire on the way home from the grocery and you couldn't leave the car running for a/c because it would overheat?

I'd turn off the air, open the windows, hand the hubby a cold waterbottle as I send him out to change the tire.

What would you do if you had to choose between eating various bugs with Andrew Zimmerman or fat juicy maggots with "Survivorman"?

oh, a toughie.  I think I'd have to eat bugs with Andy.  :-)

What would you do if you woke up and realized ten years had somehow passed while you slept.

I'd go online and find out what I missed :)

What would you do if... you opened up your email (or other online account where you saved a lot of stuff) and Everything was GONE - wiped clear????

I would be devastated!  I actually had to lose all my stuff before because someone had hacked into my Yahoo and eBay account and Yahoo shut down my account immediately.

What would you do if...you woke up at a party with permanent marker on your face and you had to be at work in an hour?

I guess I would go into work anyway and tell everyone about the great party I was at and that's why I got marked up.

What would you do if...I thought a close family member comitted a serious crime but there was no way to prove it?

I think I would come out and ask them if they did it.

What would you do if...your house was on fire and you could only grab one personal item to save, what would you save?

I would take my shoebox which has $420.22 in it.  I'm saving up for a computer!

What would you do if...you came home one day to find a weird,  twitchy little dog that you had never seen before was sitting on you couch watching your TV?

Probably would need to phone the police--as obviously somehow our house would have been broken into--for a dog to enter; as well as terrorize our cats!!!!

What would you do if---------you spend several hours shopping in a Wal Mart supercenter, came out of the store and had no clue as to what section/row you parked--the lot is  now real full??

I would ask myself "what the heck was I doing in a walmart!!!"  Something must have been wrong for me to go in there in the first place, so I think I'd call 911!  I know they have various reputation around the country, but we've had very bad experiences around here.

What would you do if you were on vacation and got an urgent voicemail that someone at work needed your help with a project desperately?

I would probably call them because if they have the audacity to call me while I'm on vacation, it MUST be important :)

What would you do if...you saw a homeless man shop-lift a banana?

Ha! I would be like, "Eh, he's homeless.  This is probably the only thing he's going to eat all day."

What would you do if...you woke up to find that you had switched bodies with someone (like a Freaky Friday sort of thing)?

Freak out lol!

What would you do if... you saw a fairy?

I would totally try to talk to it, and ask it about it's life.  Then, I would snap a picture and run away!

What would you do if... there was a potentially dangerous robber in your house, and you were stuck in your room without a phone?

OMG, I would be petrified.  It's my worst nightmare to be accosted by a stranger.  I would either try to sneak out of the window, hide or find something to hit him with.

What would you do if...you accidentally dinged someone's door when you got out of your car?

2009 Writer

LOL!

Grab a metal bat and sneak to where there's a phone. If I see the robber, I try to take him down. **Slaps elbow and lands on him until watched him run away. LOL! :P I don't know.

What would you do if... you had guests coming over at the last minute and you have no fod to prepare?

Guests coming over at the last minute--would join us for a trip to a nearby eatery which has a varied menu.

What would you do if .... you found a snake resting on your front porch?

Eek! I would not go outside at all until it went away. If it didn't go away... I would call someone to go and kill it!

What would you do if...you wen't to school/work one day and no one recognized you or knew who you were, and it wasn't a prank?

Take the day off :-D  Haha, they wouldn't notice I was gone!

Here's a realistic one that actually is happening tonight!  What would you do if you had tickets to an outdoor sport and rain/storms were imminent?

sidenote: aren't you proud of the big word I used??

That happened to me and I went anyways.  It was a "rain or shine" concert, so figured I would go and test it out.  I ending up leaving early, but at least I saw part of the concert!

What would you do if...you were on a first date and your date has some really bad body odor?

I had the BO thing happen. After the play, I suddenly became "really tired." It was 7:30 pm. I was 18, I couldn't come up with anything better...

What would you do if... you had a friend that used annoying phrases constantly in their speaking to sound more intelligent? (vis-a-vis, ergo, hence, literally (when it does not need to be distinguished)?

If they were a close friend, I would ask them what's up.  If I didn't know them very well, I would think they either didn't know better or wanted to appear more intelligent than they really are.

What would you do if...you were on vacation and your purse was stolen that contained your passport, license and everything that proves you are you?

2009 Advisor

FIRST, I would explain that it was NOT a purse, but a SATCHEL.  Then I would try and get someone to let me use their cell phone and call who ever I needed to replace that.  Then run, NOT WALK, to the nearest embassy, if I'm out of country.

What would  you do if the celebrity you and your signifcant other agreed could be on your "list" actually approached you and offered, in front of your "person"?
