What do you think of the Yale Bride to be's murder? Do you think they found the right suspect? How did that happen that he hid her body in a wall in broad daylight?

Such a bazaar and sad case. Le had everything going for her... I can't imagine what happened. Hard to say if they have the right person? Everything is still pretty hush, hush. I have no idea what to think. Seems the media is trying to formulate a story that Clark had been unfaithful to his girlfriend in the past thus alluding to Le potentially being the "other girl." Of course that is purely hear-say.

It's certainly a scary case, and I just hope that the investigators get this one right.

I can't imagine what drives a person to commit such a heinous crime. I am troubled reading about it and feel so badly for her family :(

I think - as any rational person would - that it is a horrible thing for anyone to be murdered.  That Annie Le was murdered at her workplace a few days before her wedding certainly adds more pathos to the story.

As to the "right suspect" question.  Hard to say.  I remember when the 1996 Olympics were sullied by the pipe bombing incidents that killed some people in the Olympic Park in Atlanta; the police "caught" a security guard (Richard Jewell, I think his name was) and pointed him out as the likely suspect.  Guess what?  It was Eric Rudolph - a right-wing anti-abortion, anti-government terrorist - who had planted the bombs.  So while I think the New Haven police department arrested the right suspect, I am going to withhold my opinion until the trial.

As to the broad daylight thing...have you ever been inside a college research lab?  There are usually no windows that can be seen from the outside, and you need to have electronic pass keys to get access to them,  So of course if the murderer had access to a room where there were no windows, he could have stuffed the body in a wall without anyone seeing him.

This is surely a very sad story.  There are a lot of open ends to this case, and we are not yet sure if they really got the right guy.  Thinking about how it all happened on a broad daylight is unfathomable much less the way he hid the body.

When it was first reported that Annie Le was missing, I was hoping and wishing so strongly that this would end well. As the days went by, my heart fell with a feeling it wouldn't.

I feel so sad for her entire family and all who knew her and I hope they are able to find the justice in this case that they deserve. I do hope the man they have in custody now is the right guy, just so this can be put to rest and allow her family to have some peace.

It's hard to tell if they have the right suspect. Quite correctly they don't want to tip their hand by releasing all the evidence they have. And mistakes have been made by State, Local & Federal authorities - notably the Richard Jewell harassment in the Atlanta bombing case. On the other hand, they got the Craig's List killer pretty quickly. We always have to go with "innocent until proven  guilty".

Like the Lacey Peterson case, I had a bad feeling about this from the very beginning. It's extremely sad for her family & my heart & prayers go out to them.

There is DNA all over the place and apparently the DNA is what is pointing to the suspect. It happened in the basement area of an animal lab testing place (*shudder*) and I assume the blood, hair, etc, from animals mixed with humans has got to be a tough thing to deal with.

I think it was an obsessed, jealous guy who couldn't deal with the fact that Le was getting married and shunning him whether in his own mind or in reality. Whatever the case, it is so tragic and so needless. It's also very scary that they had cameras all over the outside but not one inside.

I truly hope they find the right person and justice is served but it will never bring back that smart, beautiful young girl.

Very sad case. I heard another lab tech is also a person of interest.

Could someone please tell me what happened?  I totally missed this one.  I don't remember the last time I watched the news!

A 24 yr. old Yale University graduate student was found stuffed in the wall of a research center. Allegedly she was strangled by a 24 year old co-worker. She was found on the day she was supposed to be getting married.  No motive yet.

That poor girl was so smart, young and had her whole life ahead of her. Such a senseless act. I feel for her family and fiance'.

From what I've heard on CNN (but not, I hasten to add, HLN's Nancy Grace), the motive may not have been the "spurned lover wannabe" which was being bandied about in the media.  Rather, it's being classified as a case of workplace violence.  Seems that the suspect was a "control freak" who got upset with how medical students left things in the med labs that he was charged with cleaning.

Fardreamer-Great analysis of the Le case.

I have also heard it is a case of "workplace violence." To add to Fardreamer's analysis, there have been some who have argued that the lab tech was a little upset with some of the animal testing. If that's the case, then why target Annie Le? I'm sure there were other people who tested lab animals. That said, I don't believe animal testing gives someone the right to attack a person or commit murder.

It's such a sad case, and one that was a wake-up call for me as I am a female graduate student like Annie Le. My thoughts continue to be with the family. I also hope that the suspect is brought to justice and given the maximum sentence for such a senseless act.

Thanks for the kind kudos!

I haven't heard anything related to Ms. Le's murder beyond what I've already mentioned.  There's still some talk that the suspect, even though he's engaged himself, may have "crushed" on Annie and that this might still be a motive, but I also have heard that he was heard arguing with Le several times about how he had to be constantly cleaning up after her in the lab.

Whatever the reason, the guy, if he is indeed the killer, should be locked up for life and never be out on parole.
