Hi everyone.

I just wanted to say thank you so much for all your patience as we work (and continue to work) to make enhancements to the site.

Over the last few weeks we have encountered a few bugs and they are mostly related to the rapid development we have been doing. We have been working hard to rollout new features on the site (some obvious and some not) and sometimes, a few glitches happen along the way. I assure you were are working hard to continue our rapid development and are committed to keeping the site bug free.

So, what's new? (a few obvious things!)
1. We have reorganized the home page for passerby visitors to better help them find the info they are looking for. (p.s. there are a lot of passerbys, so we need to help them find your reviews!)

2. We have added the I AM page to help you, the community, better find people like you

3. We have hired a few people- Kim who will be leading us on the sales side end and Courtney11 who is a new community manager.

4. We launched a new partnership with Sears and we have added thousands of their customers to the site too! Many great tool owners, homeowners and people just like us! (Courtney will be taking the lead on helping those community members!)

So, what's up and coming....
1. Some better ways to help you find people like you

2. A new and improved profile page (we are working on this now. Want to see what it is looking like? Email me and I will show you. (jolie(at)viewpoints.com)

3. A new and improved registration process to guide new members

And, in the future (okay, I dont have exact dates).... a new and improved way to expand your reputation on the site. (and yes, some changes to ratings and reviews!)

At VP, we remain committed to you... that's why we are investing in the site, in new staff and in making your experience here a good one. As always, reach out and let us know your thoughts... the door is always open!!! :)

Will there be anything to help members add new products?  I guess we all see new items added that having spelling mistakes, the item's name in the wrong order/duplicated, and odd/incorrect images. If I hadn't visited the message boards before adding products I would have made all the same mistakes.

Welcome Kim and Courtney to Viewpoints. I bet you'll have lots of fun. I image it's a great place to work.

Question - I have a new Blackberry:) Ok so I just figured out how to get to a website. Why can't I log in to Viewpoints. There's a sign up link and every other link. Ideas? Jo who can't go 5 minutes without being here!

Geez. I thought I broke Viewpoints. The bugs were fixed fast though. Thumbs up. Do you guys work 24/7 or something? Just wondering . . .

Looking forward to the changes. It's always fun to see what you guys come up with. The engineers are so forward thinking that I always get excited when changes are coming because they are always cool!

I'm looking forward to the changes- especailly to the profile pages. It should be interesting and I think it's time for a change in that area.

I saw that this morning on a review I clicked on to and thought, "I haven't noticed that before."  Now, I know why.  I love it!

Now THIS is VERY cool!  :)  Often I will click on ye/no leave a comment, and then see that I have the ability to do it again, and forget if I did!  LOL... this will save me seconds on each review, and minutes when combined!  Very practical improvement that I love.

Teehee! I should send you my sleep schedule, so you guys can get some shut eye too. Only problem. My schedule tends to be very random.

Glad you like it! It was driving me crazy that I didnt know which reviews I left feedback on. I am sooooooooooooooooooo thrilled to have this feature too. :)

Thumbs up from me too. I forget to "good point" some reviews when I get to the comment section. I probably "good point" others several times. Yes. I do check back. I might be on the fence about buying something and read, think, read again, think. Then I think, "Did I remember to good point this good review?" Reminders are very good for me!

I like the Already Voted feature too. I often scroll through the New Reviews pages and it's easy to forget where I left off. This will help!

I am new to viewpoints. I love everything from the home page, my profile page, community section, .... I look forward to the new features/changes. Keep up the great work.

I love the new feature as well! I often wonder if I forgot to good point someone after I write a comment. This is a great help!

I think it's great that Viewpoints is keeping things fresh & new!  That's a great way to keep everyone interested and coming back.  YEAH!
