I am so happy that so many new members are including photos and filling in profiles.  We have some really surprising "surprising facts" here including a guest on Sesame Street.  I want to encourage folks to fill in their Scribbles.  It really helps to connect the dots as I get to know a reviewer.  I'll admit, I sometimes have so much fun writing and reading here that I get fanny fatigue on updating my page.  I just spent 2 hours uploading new photos (It won't take most of you that long- you won't see technology reviews from me!)  So in honor of my efforts, I hope you'll check out my new photos and I challenge you to update your page.  Come back here and let us know so we can check you out too!

I was a guest on the Oprah Winfrey Show twice in 1996. I was flown to Chicago, put up in a nice hotel and spoke to Oprah on the air (so to speak... the shows were videotaped). The topic was "where to find great bargains," and my wife and I had just bought a huge amount of stuff sight-unseen at a government auction. The auction and the Oprah show were both quite interesting.

Dunno if I want to write about that on my profile page, though.

I update constantly so I have nothing new right now :)  I put up new pics almost every occasion.

Great challenge Angela!  I don't think it's been that long since I've done anything with mine but it's a good reminder to check.  You know some of us like to celebrate father's day for over a month ;)

I try to update my scribbles every few weeks to talk about what's going on in my life and what effect it will have on my future reviews. I should probably do that tonight, got some new changes to my schedule to talk about ^_^

I'll try to upload more pictures tonight - I'm too tired to resize them, so it will take a bit of time. I update my scribbles often! On the surface it doesn't look much like a busy life, but man is it entertaining!

Well, to update my page, I would have to drag the camera out of dry dock, charge it, find the USB cable to download to the computer (this has all been stashed in cases since my son's high school graduation two years ago)  I am embarassed to admit that at Christmas, I copped out and bought a disposable camera for Christmas morning and then kicked myself for the less than stellar results.  I still haven't cleared the camera chip to a disk yet from graduation.   Hopefully, it will get done before he graduates college and thank God for a 5 year program.

Am I the only one who likes to see the familiar pics? Esp on the profile shot? I lock things in visually and get to know folks associated with the photos. Wish we could just add and not have to remove old shots in the gallery.

Get a card reader at Wal-Mart (or Best Buy, Target, Kmart, Sears, etc.) for $20 or so... it will change how you look at your digital camera. Simply take the memory card out of your digital camera, pop it into the card reader and plug it into the USB port on your computer. Immediately, your computer will pop up a window asking if you want to look at the pictures or if you want to save them. Just follow the steps and you're home free.

I've owned various digital cameras for eight years and have used a card reader for seven of them. It's s-o-o-o much easier if you have a card reader.

If you don't know which card reader to buy, take your camera to the store with you and let the clerk figure out which one you need. That's what store clerks get paid minimum wage to do.

I update my scribbles all the time. Today would have been my mom's birthday and I notated that and tomorrow, I will change my scribbles to something else. I also update my pics a lot. I just did last night as a matter of fact. I like to keep things fresh and always have the most current pic of myself up. That stems from another community (not a review one) where everyone posted pics of themselves. We all met at an event and those people were 15 years older than their pics. I barely recognized anyone! lol. One used her high school year book pic and she was 33! I guess that stuck in my head so I update my pic with any one that someone happens to take.

I hope I don't confuse people but it is always me and I basically look the same except you can watch me grow older. :\

I try to update at least once a week , always date them and I leave the older Scribbles up for a time line.

Great challenge, though! I love reading Scribbles.

Ahh was this as a result of my not remembering that Father's day was over??  Actually, my photos are only updated about once every three months, and since many of them are my children there is a reason for that. My scribbles I usually update for each month, as soon as I decide why my thoughts for the month are ... excellent challenge Angela, it will be great to keep us all on our toes.
