I'm relatively new to Twitter but I just made a link to my review into a tiny url and then posted it as my status.  Is that right? :)

I did post the first Tweetview and someone sent me a thank you comment for doing it.  We have a plan.  We at Viewpoints are going to take over Twitter ;+)  I established a twibe for Viewpoints.  It's called ViewpointsinTwitterville and now we need members. 

We are incorporating our reviews into comments w/followers and having a blast!

I am on twitter now too ... am following Viewpointers but just wanted to let Katie know who I am over there -- gps4moms since it's nothing like my name here :-D  

Also could someone explain to me the "twibe"  I tried to join and I keep getting a strange message. Do you get messages when it's posted there? Is it just for those of us VP's that join?  New to the whole thing! Yes even as techie minded as I am!

The reviews, do you want 140 character reviews tweeted?

The twibe members sometimes don't show up on the list for up to 24 hours.  I started the Viewpoints twibe (ViewpointsinTwitterville) but you don't have to be a member of Viewpoints to join the twibe.

The three keywords I used for the twibe are Viewpoints, VP and writer.  If a member of the twibe puts any of those three words in an update it will appear on our twibe board within 24 hours.

Lisa and Anna, you are both showing up on the twibe list.  Wildcatkatie, you should join! 

I ♥ the real you in Twitterville; especially when we get to chat in real time about different shows we are watching or just an issue that is on our mind.  I have also noticed that after a sabattical many of the Viewpoints people are being resurrected in Twitterville and we are having a blast!!!

Please share your reviews as tinyURL's on Twitter whenever you feel like it! It's a great way to get people to notice Viewpoints.

The Twitter-specific reviews (I am forgetting who first penned them as "Tweetviews") are 140 characters long, so they stay within the required Twitter character limit. Every Friday we will post a Tweetview topic on Twitter, and you can @Viewpointers to share your 140 character review of the product/topic, etc!

This is just another (hopefully) fun way for everyone to write reviews.

I love Tweetviews on Friday. It is fun.

I never can seem to remember the Tweetviews.  I also think it's very challenging to do a review in 140 characters or less.  Well actually less because @Viewpointers takes some of our allotted characters.  Perhaps if you would send the topic for Tweetviews thru the twibe ViewpointsinTwitterville we would see it.  How is everyone else being made aware of the topic each Friday?

WildcatKatie do you have a twitter acct.  Perhaps if I was following you then I would see the topic or is it being issued by @Viewpointers?  I am following them.    

You know you are addicted to Twitter when you go to refer to someone on Viewpoints and you want to put the sign @ in front of their name.  Also, when you find yourself abbreviating words so that you can stay under the 140 character limit.  Ex. How R U 2day? 

Having a wonderful time at Twitter and our gang from Viewpoints is growing and evolving over there too! 

I tried sending an email the other day and it would not go through. I couldn't figure out why the email wouldn't go. Silly ol' me typed their Twitter name instead of their email address.

Did you hear I won the book giveaway on Twitter?  I am going to get 2 autographed books from Kathy Ireland.  She wasn't the one doing the giveaway.  She donated several autographed books to another Twitter member who used them as a June give away.  I will probably get them sometime this week!
