Troubleshooting 'Write a Review'

I've just started using a Mac, after many years away from them. For some reason I can't seem to submit a review I've written on my Mac. I have no trouble writing and submitting reviews from my old PC (which I'm slowly phasing out.)

Is Viewpoints not Mac-friendly, or am I doing something wrong?

Hmmm.  Interesting.  We are definitely Mac friendly since our whole development team works on Macs.  Can you reply with your Mac OS X version and the type (Safari, Firefox) and version of your browser.

OS 10 10.5.2
I use Safari

When I write a review using the Mac, all of the tools are disabled (I can't bold or italicize...) I can save it as a draft but, when I open it up again, the html tags for paragraphs are imbedded. And when I try to publish, I'm just not able to do it.

I, too, use Safari on Leopard as my primary browser, so I feel your pain with this exact problem. In Safari specifically, we had to turn off all those great buttons for bold, italics, links, etc. As a result, all of the HTML tags appear when returning to edit an existing review. I am personally working hard to get our third party toolbar to work in Safari. When this happens, you will be good to go. In the meantime, a somewhat annoying workaround is to remove all HTML tags, format with hard returns as needed, and submit the review again.

Glad to see a fellow Safari user!

Ah, so I'm not just doing something terribly wrong with my new Mac? Good to hear! I've been away from Macs for over ten years, and it's not exactly like getting back on a bike...they've come a long way since my old Power Mac, and even longer since my old, trust SEII!
