Okay, I was in a parade for the last 4 hours and while in the staging area my family and I had to entertain ourselves.  My family is big on movies and tv shows so I came up with this game while we were waiting to get in the line-up.  We then played it nonstop for at least an hour.

I will name an actor/actress and what tv show or movie they play in.  The next poster can choose to change either the person or tv show/movie.  This game will link people and movies and is good for the movie buff.

For example: I say, John Travolta played in Grease.

The next poster can change either the person or the tv show/movie.

They might say John Travolta also played in Hairspray (change the movie title) OR

they might say Olivia Newton-John also played in Grease (change the actor/actress).

Then the next poster would change an actor/actress or tv show/movie.  The key word is also to make the connection from one poster to the next.  If you put your selection in bold print the next poster will know if you were using the same actor or the same movie title.  For example in the first statement I linked John Travolta to another movie and in the second statement I linked another actor to the previous movie Grease.

All you have to post is the new statement.  I'll post this one to get people started.

Hint: IF you get stumped and really want to play to move the game forward just google the movie name to get a new character or google the star's name to get another movie title.

I'm not sure if you are following how to play this game.  You have to mention EITHER the actor from the previous statement and put him/her in another movie OR mention another actor from the previous movie.  You're going to keep either the same actor or movie title from the previous statement.  We're sticking with actors not other film credits like producers, directors, etc.

I thought i'd add a twist to the game.....make it expand even further and be more challenging to some... Ah well...

Obsessed with R.W. I see...

Toys was directed by Barry Levinson, (featured John Lithgow who was also in Garp)  who is in

2009's Dexter

 

The World According to Garp Leap is within the narrow confines of the game...  but x posting leap and subsequent BiCentennial Man...  negates that.... so I'll try again... later perhaps... bye.
