I guess I just have multiple personalities!  :->  actually I am a visual learner also, so sometimes it takes me a few days to get the "hang" of the new photos, but I do enjoy seeing what everyone comes up with.

I love changing photos and seeing everyone's new photos.  It does mean that I have to learn usernames more, but I think it's so fun!   I usually try to keep myself in the pic if I can, but sometimes I can't find one to match the month so I don't.  Overall, I think it's great to see other's personalities based on what hey choose every month.  I don't usually go looking at people's pictures on a regular basis, so changing the profile pic livens it up a bit.

I like the festive, seasonal feeling it gives the site.  It can be confusing but it can also be fun to click on a picture thinking you've found someone new and finding out it is an old friend!

I love the idea of changing our pictures monthly. It gives the site a fresh look. If I see a new picture, I have a habit of looking at the username. BTW, I really love everyones fall/thanksgiving pictures.

Yeah, like when PattyTherre made that terrible comment about a review and then realized it was her review she was talking about.  

I love changing the pictures.  I get used to the names and just enjoy a change of "scenery."  Plus it is fun to see how creative people can get with their pics.  I have already selected several for Thanksgiving and Christmas so be prepared for a lot of changes with my profile.

I also think the profile picture catches my attention quicker than the other pictures that are added to the profile.  When I see a profile for the first time I usually look at all pics but once I get used to someone's profile I generally look at their blog, reviews and discussion board participation.

At least the variety of pictures beats those who were participating in the "no face album."  How unique were they?  LOL  

To quote Dr. Dolittle 2 (Ava the bear talking to Asa about Sonny): "What's wrong with him?"  "Oh, he's confused and he don't like being confused."  Just had to put that in there ;+P

I can go with the flow, but I'll just keep holding my leg up for now! I do try to post new pix on my profile and reviews. Got some pretty cool Fall pix on there right now but couldn't re-arrange them because my cat's paw was sticky. (someone's description of a problem on another discussion)

I remember "the cat's paw" and what's with the pictures going down the screen vertically now?  It is very difficult to rearrange or get a picture from the photo gallery up to your main profile. 

Katrena must some have some Cloris Leachman blood in her.  Rememer, Cloris was really good at those leg extensions and holding them for a while.

Yeah that is one reallllllly good stretch she' got going there :)

That is sooooo funny. I could never hold my leg up that high for so long.

I can do wonderful leg extensions but Katrena has been holding her leg up since I first "met" her.  Who knows she could be the next Cloris Leachman :+} 

Speaking of new profilce pics--I really like yours.  It's a little more scenic than the leaves but hey, leaves are good! 

Interesting because I have had the same picture since the start. Guess I could put up a different photo of me but you can probably figure out I'm the turkey??Just kidding- good point actually.

I adapt well to change so I say, have as much fun as you want to.  The pictures add to your personality and I love seeing them.  My original picture was from Christmas last year and I know I have changed a lot so I was planning on putting up a new picture as soon as I got another good one! 

I associate people with their pictures as well.  But I have been in so many different social type groups that I see some people do like to change things up a bit.  It does sometimes get confusing, but it's neat also to see the new stuff come through. :)

I enjoyed the seasonal pictures also although I am a little "gunshy" now after we had all those problems getting rid of my purple pumpkin after Halloween.  One thing I noticed however is this -- I keep track every day of not only my "hits" but my Profile views as well.  The profile views dipped dramatically during my pumpkin period but now have risen back up to where they had been now that a human face is back.  Perhaps some people react better to the sight of a real person's face, then again maybe my pumpkin just scared them a little.

Cyndi, I agree. I hate when people change their profile pictures, especially when they do it often! I can't keep up with it!

I guess it's just your personal preferences.  I see some of you think of your profile picture as the image you want to put out there for everyone to relate to YOU.  That's fine if that's the way you like it :)  I personally like to mix it up and show various aspects of my personality.  Plus, I get bored with the same ol' same ol' and like to change my picture to make people look and do a double take :)

I had a mix-up with mine a little while ago and almost ended up with three of the same halloween profiles when I tried to chane it. I'm keeping the same face but changed outfit and background. For now I'm having fun using the avatar.

Me neither!  I have that same plastic purple pumpkin.  I bought it last year so my nephews could take candy to church and pass it out amongst the youth group.  Definitely not scarey--too cute to be scarey ;+)
