I need help though with sticking it in the right category. I know it goes under websites, but what type of website would you consider this to be? Entertainment? Shopping?
If you haven't visited, it's basically a website featuring children's books. It's the first children's book website where you can actually preview an entire book from cover to cover, but you can also buy it if you like it. You can build a bookshelf of your favorites on their site and view other member's bookshelves. You can also rate the individual books or bookshelves. I really like it, especially since have kids. I just have no idea where to categorize a website like this here on VP!

I looked at the website and I'd put it under shopping since you can actually purchase the books OR Review sites since it looks like people review the books. I really only use the other categories when the site doesn't sell products specifically.
It's up to you, do you think people are more likely to go there to read reviews of the books or to buy the books? Based on that you can choose Review or Shopping website.
Happy reviewing!!

BTW - I consider Entertainment to be a website you go to purely for fun, like for Games or something like that.

Thanks for your input!
Well, you can't actually review with text like you can on here and on a website like Amazon. You can only rate it using a five-heart rating and I guess adding it to your "bookshelf" shows how much you like it. But, with that said, I guess it fits better under Review than Shopping. Because you don't actually buy it directly off the site. It redirects you to Amazon, B&N or Booksense.com. So confusing, I know. Thus my reason for coming here and asking!

Well if you aren't so sure about Review, you can always put it under Misc. I've done that before when nothing seemed to fit :)

This site seems to best fit under Shopping Web Sites here at Viewpoints. When you're filling out the review form for shopping sites... you can check mark the box for Book Web Sites under "Types."

Thanks again and thanks Meredith. I reviewed it and it's under "shopping" now!
