Hi, I'm Natalie, from New Jersey.  I like  cooking, reading, writing and spending time with my grandchildren.  I am, unfortunately someone who doesn't like a lot of activity.  I'd prefer to sit and watch.  Even though I grew up in New Jersey, 5 miles from the ocean, I hate the beach.   The whole sun and sand thing is totally overrated.  I really enjoy my time here at viewpoints.    

Hi. I'm Alex and I'm a native Floridian.  I've lived in Miami for most of my life - except for a few years way back in the 1960s and early '70s - and in the same house for the past 30.  I've dabbled in writing since I was nine, studied journalism in high school and junior college, including a stint as my campus newspaper's first foreign correspondent in Spain.  I have been a pet-sitter, house-sitter, communications consultant, ghostwriter, and freelance writer (online) over the past 20 years.

 Currently I'm single, helping take care of my mom, and trying - at least the best that I can - to make a difference by providing online shoppers (or just curious readers) with (hopefully) informative, witty, and entertaining reviews, not just here at Viewpoints but in other sites as well. 

My favorite things? "Raindrops on roses..." Oh, wait. That's been done. Let's see...other than writing and/or reading, I like movies, pets, hanging out online with my friends on the 'Net and sometimes going out with my Miami friends, listening to music, Sid Meier's Civilization IV, my Star Wars collection, watching 24, attractive women, ice-cold Coca-Cola, travel (though that's expensive), MySpace, and eating chili dogs at Arbetter's.   

 

Hi I'm Steve. 

I somehow ran into VP in April of this year, and have been posting reviews ever since.  My two kids both graduated from college this year, my daughter with dual degrees in drama and Spanish language, and my son in journalism.  He now writes for a newspaper in Seattle. 

I was married in Cancun about 4 years ago, and now live in Bellingham with my wife who is an environmental scientist, and a Portuguese Water Dog breeder of more than 20 years.  The dogs keep us quite busy, and their numbers seem to always be getting larger for some reason. 

I managed to pull off early retirement in mid April of this year, and have found myself so very busy, I can't imagine how I ever found time to work.  My passions are travel and Corvettes, and can still never manage to cram enough of either into my life to pacify myself.  So far, I've managed to travel to 34 states, 3 continents, and 23 countries, and my quest for travel continues. 

I've been into photography for over 30 years, and write articles for many travel web sites.  Several on a regular basis.  In November I'm going on my first camel safari, (I guess thats what you call it), and have plans to visit Mecca, (aka National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green KY), in 2009.

I am not sure how to define me.  I am a mixture of old and new.  I love tradition but question authority.  I love genealogy, old diaries and cemeteries but I am equally comfortable among the living.  I enjoy the water but love the mountains.  I am carefree yet cautious, conservative yet liberal, trusting and loyal until given a reason not to be.  I am intrigued with religions but am a staunch believer in my own.   I love to travel, like sports cars and good food.  I appreciate value but I am frugal in my expenditures.  I take pride in my family and love men's collegiate basketball [Go Huskies!].  I love cats but only have a small dog.  The only constant is that I am married to the same man who took me to my Senior Prom some 37 years ago.

I could go on and on but it would just be more of the same- a contradiction in loves, a harmony of opposites.  Somehow they all coexist within me weaving a tapestry that can only be uniquely defined as Meri.

Hi! My name is Krista Lynn. I am a southern girl. I was born in Orlando, FL and grow-up in Savannah, GA. I have been living in Carrollton, GA (metro city of Atlanta) for 10 years now. I am thirty something and I have an younger brother, who just passed his Firefighting State test. I have 2 Jack Russell Terriers, Rustie is 7 and Nicholas is 1. Some of my interests or hobbies include playing with my dogs, reading, country music, drawing, crafts, computers, games, surfing the Internet, and most of all Viewpoints.

Hello everyone, I'm Crysta!  I've been writing on Viewpoints for a year now and love it! :) 

I live in Garden City, Michigan (The same neighborhood as Mindyvol, up there!).  I am married, have a 13 year old son and a 5 year old daughter.  I own a licensed daycare and work long days but look forward to checking in on Viewpoints at night.

I love to read, its my passion.  I love the smell of a bookstore, library and a brand spanking new book! I read 2 or 3 books a week, I can't help it. I will stay up til the wee hours of the morning, reading.  I started and run a local book club and really enjoy it! So if you have any book recommendations, send them my way!

I love being involved with my Church. I am a Youth Leader, a Nursery Worker and play on both the Church Volleyball and Bowling teams!  I love being able to give back to the community and through Church, I get to do that!

In my spare time, when I find it, I like to scrapbook the millions of pictures that I take a year and spend time outside with a good book!

My biggest joy in life is my family.  My husband and my children make me laugh, feel happy and complete!  Whether we are out and about or just sitting at home, I am most content when they are here with me.    Isn't life great?!

I am married to a wonderful man for 1 yr. this month. I have 8 children. My 5 youngest are still at home. They are 6, 8, 10, 12 and 13. My 3 oldest are 17 with 1 child, 19 with 1 child and 20,  1 child and expecting again.

The first 3 were from my 1st marriage ( now deceased ) and the last 5 were from my 2nd marriage. YES! This is my 3rd marriage, but I think I got it right this time.

Hi, I am Michelle. I am 34 years old and the mother of a beautiful little girl who will be 2 in November, and the wife of a wonderful, loving man. I enjoy life in general and try, emphasis on try, to live life to its fullest. I love to read, enjoy most genres of music, and am a huge movie buff. I love walking, playing with my daughter, cooking, and many other things. We moved last year, and I have really been enjoying decorating for the different seasons in our new home, cheesy, but I love it.

   Hi I'm Valerie.  I have lived me whole life in Iowa, and enjoy being close to my family.  I have my master's degree in social work, and just took on a supervisor's position for the agency I work for.  I was married two years ago and have a son who just turned one.  I enjoy taking photos, srapbooking, and knitting.    

 Hi! My name is Karin, and I have lived in Connecticut all of my 37ish years (almost 38). I live in New Britain with my son, Kaisson and our 3 cats...Jack (the baby), Sophie (Fiffy), and Lucy (the Pip)...oh, and our 2 remaining dopey giant goldfish (out of 10) Mutt and Jeff...survival of the fittest in the 100 gallon fish tank!

 I am a Special Education Prek teacher in our public school system, and Kaisson is in 2nd grade in one of our elementary schools. We spend much of our free time playing video games (Lego Star Wars is our FAVORITE!!), and reading Junie B. Jones books, but we love to be outside playing when the weather is nice.

My personal interests include obsessive addictions to primetime television...thank goodness for DVRs!! I could definitely solve ANY crime with the number of CSI episodes I have under my belt! I also adore House, Law and Order, The Fringe, Grey's Anatomy, and a ton others....

I love wine, spending time with my friends and family, traveling, and looking forward to summer vacations...

Hello, my name is Amy. I was born and raised in a small town in Michigan. A farming community with all of about 800 people. Growing up in a small town afforded me with my simple and honest values and morals. I'm just a simple, hard working, honest country girl.

At the age of 18, I moved away for my first experience away from home. Moved to Clarksville, Tennessee, it didn't work out. Moved back to Michigan and then in the year 2000 moved again to live in Oregon. Lived there for 6 years and now I live in the Tampa Bay area of Florida.

I'm married with 3 sons. A 16, 13 and 9 year old keep me on my toes. I've been married for 10 years but with my husband for 14 years. I was married before at the age of 18, but the marriage failed. Being so young and naive, I was clueless to life back then.

My experiences in life have given me a good amount of knowledge in just about everything. I like sports (nascar mostly), gardening, reading, music, walking on the beach, cooking, graphic design, abstract art, my computer, trivia games, dice games, Blackjack.

I am a homemaker now, but have worked as a waitress in a honky tonk bar, I've worked in a fast food resturaunt, I've worked in the deli, as a cashier, a stocker/bagger, & carry-out at a grocery store and I've had my own business as a daycare provider. I've been lucky enough to be a "hands-on mom" for the last 8 years. Soccer, baseball, football, track... My kids are always busy and I'm proud to be able to be a part of it.

I took a looooooong (too long) break from VP, I didn't realize how long it had been.  But, it looks like I'm approaching my 1st anniversary with VP next month (even though I took a 6-month hiatus)!

My name is Michelle, I'm 32 and I'm a stay-at-home mom of two little girls.  I aim to review mostly baby/toddler/kids stuff and also a bit of art-related stuff.  Oh yeah, I'm also a freelance artist - trying to make my mark in the childrens book field.

My husband and I love to go on road trips and day trips here and there.  This year it has been harder to get out more, but we do try to get out and do family stuff that we know our kids will enjoy.
