If you find something fishy on the site that you don't typically experience, (e.g. error messages, trouble posting content, etc.) let us know.

The more details we know, the better. Please supply as much helpful info as possible like:

1) What web browser are you using? (Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari, etc.)

2) If having trouble posting a review... What product are you attempting to add?

3) If you receive an error message, what does it say? (e.g. Server error, We're sorry an error has occured.)

I am keeping a record of these issues you are reporting here. Our tech team will be investigating each item on a weekly basis in order to prioritize the workload efficiently. If I don't reply directly to your post here... please know that your message has been noted and submitted to our team each week. In some cases, I may need to reply to you by email. Some issues can be resolved easily and quickly. Others will take extra time so we want to make sure high priority issues are addressed first. Thank you.

You are not doing anything wrong. This is an element we can improve so thanks for reporting. First, your content is not lost. After hitting "Save as a draft" you should see a green message at the top of the page that says "Your draft has been saved. It is in the Drafts to Complete section of the My Home page."

Next, you can click on My Home to access your drafts. At that time... you see the pop-up warning to save your work. This is what we need to fix. Your draft is already saved so that pop up should not appear again.

If you ever save a draft and it does not appear in your drafts section... please let us know because that would definitely be a glitch.

Hope this helps out! If not, feel free to email me too. I can send screen shots using my latest obsession, SnagIt! :)

I was wondering about this because the last two reviews I Saved As Drafts did the same thing as Katrena. I just took a chance and went back to the "My Home" page and there was my review in the draft section. I just thought this was something new.

I think the weird bug is me--EnerG appears twice in the title of my review:

Sorry!

Hey everyone. We have a bug with the drag and drop feature on the photos page. Right now, you should not change or move your primary profile photo. We will have this fixed early next week. You should still be able to upload new photos and move them around in your photo corner. You just can't drag a new photo to your profile photo square. Bear with us as we get this corrected. I'll let you know when the issues has been resolved by posting here on the message boards. Sorry for the inconvenience.

As you can see... I tested it out and now I'm faceless :( Let's just say I'm dressed up as an invisible woman for Halloween.

Happy Halloween!!!!!!!

Add me to the "faceless club." I didn't read the thread in time. I was so excited about changing my profile pic to my baby's Halloween costume pic. ;-(

I must have gotten stuck in the Twilight Zone or else someone really loves seeing my sick pumpkin.  I tried to change my profile pic about an hour ago and it just kept putting the pumpkin back.  I noticed that all the pictures in the photo gallery are going vertically down the left side of the page.  I did do a lot of drag and drops but they just kept randomly scattering across the screen.  But, Mr. Pumpkin decided to hang around.  He wasn't quite ready to abdicate the throne for Mr. Turkey to take his rightful place in November.  Gobble, gobble :+)

I also forgot to mention that right now it isn't allowing us to edit reviews.  I tried to change some information on a book review and you lose paragraph format and see all kinds of weird characters in the body of your draft.  When I exit out of the review and go back to it there is no damage done to the original draft.  You just can't change/correct anything right now.  ~Gigi

Hey Gigi! I just tested out editing a review and had no problems. I'm using Firefox. What web browser are you using?

Thanks for letting me know. Happy Halloween ;) Yea, we don't want your hurling pumpkin to go away! It's too funny.

Web browser?  I don't know :+(  But my problem is fixed.  Once I signed off the Internet and came back on I was able to do the edits.  I guess I was just experiencing a glitch.  Thanks for checking into it for me--that was fast ;+)

And you're not unique either--there are a lot of people out there who a day after Halloween are still trying to be the Invisible man/woman ;+)  I tried to change my picture too but it kept dropping the pumpkin in place.  I guess the system had already realized the picture couldn't be changed but knew everyone would still need to see Mr. Pumpkin.  Now he represents "the day after."  This is what happens when people have too much candy or party too much!  LOL!

OK, I still I have a face...I'd like to share something different that I have noticed for a while.  When I am on the home page looking at I am tags and I click on "new members who have used this tag," more often than not, these are not new members.  I love to welcome folks and find reviews from new people that share I am tags I am interested in so this would be really helpful if it was accurate.  Thank you so much.

I have never seen that before (and still don't).  When I go to the homepage all I see is "find people like you" by the I AM tags.  Where do you see that at.

I would like to be able to read reviews a little easier.  I'm not talking about reading reviews from people who I can see theirs on my friends' activities.  Sometimes I am trying to find a new book or movie and I will click on the submenu "read reviews."  Many times it will prompt me to write a review and I am wanting to read up on a product or service that has already been reviewed.  Take for example, books.  You can locate by genre or author.  Well, I knew I was trying to find Danielle Steel or Jodi Picoult.  Neither was in the list of top authors so I clicked on "more."  Well, I guess there are so many that it never generated a list.  The same has happened when I wanted to read various movie reviews.  Sometimes I am shopping around for a product so I am trying to compare other people's opinions.  This function has not served its purpose that effectively for me.

Glad to see other people are having this same problemo!

The photo resorting thing used to work fine.  Just a few weeks ago I had no problem putting my Halloween picture in place on my profile.  Just went in to replace the regular profile picture and had no problem clicking and dragging it into place.  The problem:  once it was in place, no amount of desperate clicking could get it to stay there.  It stuck permanently to my cursor and I ended up with a dozen little copies of the picture all over the place as I desperately tried to unclick and leave the picture someplace.  It was like trying to get gum off one's shoe.  Is there some new procedure we should be following besides clicking and dragging?  I've never had this problem before.

I think part of the problem may be that the Halloween picture seems to be permanently stuck in place.  I realize that many of the changes have been great but this wasn't broke and it shouldn't have been fixed.  It was nice to be able to change the profile picture now and then.  I'm assuming this was some deliberate change -- if it was just a mistake, I apologize for my crabbiness!

Wow. I finally go from shadow  person to having a profile pic and I find a few people have become shadow people. : ) I look forward to when it's safe for us to change our pics.

This may be a glitch also -  this is the third time I am submitting this post. I type what I want, click submit and instead of showing me what I submitted I get sent to page one of this board. Hopefully it will work this time!

I have a different problem, hopefully it is just a glich - I went to write a review, typed in the name and got a picture of the book I was wanting to review.  I clicked on review it and it re-directed me back to the identify the item you wish to review.

Has anyone else been on this loop, I don't want to do an add new because it is there and I don't want to be responsible for making multiples of the same item, but I have tried it about 10 times and it keeps doing the same thing.

I will come back tomorrow and try again, I have the review saved in a word doc.

I see the LUSH Karma review on your profile now. We'll take a look and find out why there was a delay. Thanks for letting us know.

Came back today and it still is redirecting me back to the point to put in the name of the book, this is frustrating, am I the only one it is happening to?  I have done several reviews so I am pretty sure I am doing it right!

Ok, I tried it Several more times, I will try again later, but if it still redirects me I will try to do an 'add new' and see if it will accept it that way.  It is frustrating because I think it is great to be linked up with retail links like Amazon, especially for book reviews.  UGHHHH wish I knew why it wasn't doing it right for me.

I'm looking into this issue now. Thanks for letting us know and sorry for the frustration. I just did some testing and had no problem. It's possible there is an error with the specific book/product you are trying to review. What is the name of the item you are trying to review? Also, it will help to know what web browser you are using (Firefox, Internet Explorer, etc.) Feel free to send me an email too at meredith@viewpoints.com. We'll help get this resolved for you as soon as possible.

Same thing happened to me last night when I was trying to review the CD Christmas With the von Trapp Children.  I was frustrated because the item came up with a picture of the CD cover.  But when I clicked on "review it" I was rerouted back to the add new/look up bar.  I finally gave up and chose add new item.  However, I took a picture of my CD cover and it isn't as good as the picture that I would have been able to use if I was able to succesfully choose "review it."  I think I also mentioned this problem last night on this board or maybe I was just venting to Krislynn.
