I love the fall. I love everything about it; from the beautiful colors of the turning leaves, the bright orange pumpkins, colorful gourds, apples and chill in the air. I suspect that not everyone shares my love for the fall. What is your favorite time of the year and why?

I share your love for Fall. For me, it means cool nights with a mug of Apple Cider or Red Wine Cider. The smell of seasonal scented candles in the air. Snuggling on the sofa with my hubby and a warm blanket. Watching College Football.
It also means a lot of comfort foods like chili, soups, stews, Red Velvet Cake and especially my homemade Jack Daniels Sweet Tater Pies.

I read "Red Velvet Cake and especially my homemade Jack Daniels Sweet Tater Pies" and knew you had to be from the south! Sweet potato fries and Red Velvet Cake are right up there with homemade Banana Pudding and Ribs right off the grill.

I have always loved the fall. Since I've moved to Jersey I love it even more. If I go I mile from my house to the left I am at the bay beach. If I go 2 miles to the right I am at the foot of the pine forest.
I love the beach in the fall. The ocean water is at it's warmest, the crowds are gone and it's the best time of year for stripper and blue fishing.
The trees turn amazing colors; the smell of the fireplaces are in the air, and it's a great time for a bonfire at night.
Halloween is just around the corner, as well as Thanksgiving. Also, Football and Hockey seasons are starting.

Our best striper fishing is in the spring when the stripers come into the Hudson to spawn. Good times! I wish I could post a picture on the boards... hehe

I do enjoy the fall--mums, pumpkins, cool breezes, and spicy candles... My absolute favorite season, though, is summer because I don't have to work and can relax in the pool all day long. I am not a worker bee!

My Favorite Time of year is about 2 weeks to 1 month long. This year it seems like it was the month of September. This is the time of year where it is cool enough to keep the heat off but warm enough that we don't need the AC yet. This is the time where I can wear shorts, or pants, and not worry about being too hot, or too cold. However in MI the perfect time of year is usually around 2-3 weeks and that's about it!

Meri I am with you. I love all the beautiful leaves turning colors, the cooler air, and most of all the apples. Every year we go up to Elijay, GA for the apple festival and get awhole bunch of fresh and juicy apples. While we are up there, we take a ton of pictures of the leaves. I love banana pudding too.

I love Fall. I am just so glad to be rid of the stifling heat of summer. I also love the great fall fruits and vegetables.

Fall is absolutely my most favorite season. It may have something to do with my b-day being in October but most likely it's because of the cooler weather and crisp air, beautiful fall colors, pumpkins, apple orchards, hayrides, candy, candles, and also knowing that Thanksgiving and Christmas are right around the corner.

I like fall too. I've been having fun taking picture of the fall colors in the mountains. The yellow and gold quaking aspen trees make a great colntrast with the rest of the scenery.

Fall is right up there but I tend to enjoy the "change" to a new season regardless of which one.
