1. I'm so glad I've never been shot

2. I got my first tattoo at the age of 47...on a dare

3. I've learned that babies, puppies, and personal injuries do not mix

4. It's a work in progress but I am learning to let my children be adults

5. I'm left handed in all things except computer mice, there I'm right handed

My Random Facts:

1. I can't swim.

2. I like to sing old love songs at the top of my lungs in the shower.

3. I once stole a bobby pin from Rite Aid because my bangs were bugging me that much.

4. I watched Cinderella for the first time when I was in High School.

5. It is a very real possibility that i'm addicted to shopping.

I don't know what I want to do for a  career either. Neither do any of my friends. Belive me your not alone at all in that boat!

5. Never felt pretty. It's what's on the inside that matters, beauty comes from within.

I, too, wanted to be a homicide detective!  AND I wanted to get a sign made to hang on my desk that said, "Homicide Division.  Our Day Begins when Yours Ends."....  Yes, I'm twisted and I know it....

I'm RIGHT handed

I've been pulled over five times, one speeding ticket that my dad the police chief helped me get out of.

I'm going to the Circus with Britney on 9/11 even though I feel pretty old to go

When my husband was in the Army, I did know everyone's names, because they all wore name tags! Just stick a "Mrs." in front the last name for his wife! Simple!

Anytime I subscribe to a magazine (even one) I never read any of them!

1. I dropped out of high school because we couldn't afford the $28,000 tuition for the college I was supposed to attend after 10th grade, and I only got $23,000 in scholarhsips and grants.

2. I'm 28 and have never had a license, though I did have a permit once. (I grew up in Boston and have almost always lived in cities with public transit.)

3. I had my first pet rat when I was 16, and still adore them. My fiance is also a convert.

4. When I divorced my ex, I kept his mom! ;)

5. I have intense social anxiety.

I met my husband sort of kinda through myspace. he knew my cousin but we first started talking on myspace so i guess we met on the interent too.

My SIL almost fainted when she found out that girls actually read in the bathroom.  She was talking about it one day and I told her that if I am reading a good book and need to go to the bathroom I will take the book with me and she 'bout died!

Okay....new wrinkle...first times.

1. I had my first byline in January of 1980 (junior high student paper)

2. I had my first college byline in September of 1985.

3. My first review (1980) was not published; it earned an A for style and accuracy but not timely enough.

4.  I first went west of the Mississippi in 2000.

5. I first wrote an online review in 2003 (at the Barnes & Noble web site).

Mike.  LOL.  I couldn't stop laughing when I read your "desk" sign.  Haha!  That's hilarious!  I have a friend who works in a morgue.  I'll have to get her that sign.  Yep, my favorite show was Homicide with Andre Braugher, I loved the movie Seven and one of my good friends was a Deputy Coroner.
