That sounds wonderful. I love the country. I'm hoping that we will have a garden in the next place we move to. I miss growing veggies. There's always portable gardens too I can work on.

The old bear has struck again so I'm up longer than I expected. I'm  in pain and distracting myself with my scrap paper drafts, researching online and of course putting in my 2 cents in various boards. Sipping some Sleepytime Tea is helping to relax me also.

We're going to have an Easter egg hunt Friday night at the party pad!  Everyone needs to bring some goodies to hide and of course, after the egg hunt we'll reassemble and enjoy snacks and a movie or does anyone want to forego the movie and play board games?

Okay, who wants to bring what?  Remember, it must be things that are individually wrapped or decorated eggs.  Everyone must bring a basket--tell us how your basket will be decorated and what you will donate for the egg hunt.

I am going to use a Disney Princess basket--It's the collapsible-style bag and it has a picture of Cinderella, Bell and Sleeping Beauty.  I'll bring a dozen eggs w/handpainted pictures and I'll bring a bag of Reeses P-nut butter eggs AND for the party afterward I will bring chips and dip and 2 bottles of Coke.  Next....

Oh shoot, I was thinking of bringing the rreeses egg candies. lol! Let's see..

I'll bring a box for each of Peeps, those marshmellow chicks. And a handmade basket with plastic eggs with a surprise inside.

I'm having a Easter Egg Hunt at my house (for real) Friday afternoon. I just finished putting candy in plastic eggs. I made up a Easter basket for my little guy. It is green and has bunnies on it. My best friend and her hubby is coming over Friday for lunch and then we are hunting for eggs in my front yard.

Now my basket for Friday night will be handmade with handpainted eggs that I've decorated myself. I'll bring a bag of Hershey's Kisses.

Thanks for your Peeps donation.  Guess what I did?  Since I can't stand Peeps and neither can Krista I took all the peeps and we went over to the virtual retreat.  You know several of us are having fun at the Zipline?  Well, I took the peeps and put them all over the post at the end of the Zipline so if we hit it we won't get hurt.  Those marshmallow things really do serve a purpose ;+)

So that explains the gooy sticky stuff I got on me. I thought it was something DUISparky flung with the rubber snakes and spiders!!!!    : )

We better get LadyM cleaned off because the Viking Lady is calling for reinforcement because she believes she is seeing a giant marshmallow walking around.  LadyM looks like the Michelin tire man ;+)  No one ever told us how to remove melted marshmallow.  Hmmm....We must think fast because with the springtime comes bumble bees and we don't need them attacking LadyM.  Pippi is going to call 911 and see if they can bring out the firetruck hose.  Hold tight LadyM; we're going to spray you down!  Everyone else stand back unless you want to get soaked!  Whooosh--too late.  Jenny just got hit with a blast of water and now she has declared a water fight.  You better run because she's packing a big water gun and Viking Lady is trying to get the fireman to let her hold the hose.   

Wah-wah-wah-wah-wah! Just hopping in before I hit the hay! I know it's been a while; sorry about that!

I'm now moved and settled in to our new place! It's SOOOO NICE!!! Then, next week, I start my online course!!! SO EXCITING! I'm keeping busy, busy, busy!

Chrissy, congratulations on the new house and good luck in school.  Be diligent in your studies and when you need a break come back here for a while.  If you want to study a precious gem just look up Gigi.  I'm as precious as they come!  he he.  Seriously, my birthstone is the Emerald and I've heard it's the most precious gem so there is a connection there somehow.  

It's in the top 5 for sure! LOL! I start this week!!!! I'm SOOO anxious to start studying. . . tee hee. . . I'm baffled that I'm this excited about school! LOL!

What a difference a NEW ENVIRONMENT, SPACE, PRIVACY AND ORGANIZATION make!!! I love my hubby's folks, but we need our own place. A MUST!!! I AM SO HAPPY!!! =oD

I am what my husband calls the night shift.  When I was working in a Resident Care Facility, I worked the night shift  as a nurse because I could not sleep and have been unable to break the habit.  I am up writing reviews on a couple web sites

Well for the first time in awhile I'm up LATE and wide awak at 1:30 AM :)  Wondering if anyone else is!  Or maybe you guys are all sleeping early tonight :)  

I was out with "Memaw" and Carla last night until almost 10 and then when I got home I turned the TV on and fell asleep.  I'm going to visit some the boards and then try to get some Saturday cleaning done.

I'm also going to see if I can get my brother to come over and set up my hammock so I can lay outside and enjoy the nice summer breeze, read a book and possibly nap in the great outdoors.

R11 aka The Viking Lady is a prankster so we must find out if it was a real edible pie.  She loves silly string and when she decided to be eco-friendly she came up with spaghetti string.  She and I are partners in crime.  My alias is Pippi and when we are together, watch out!

I don't eat pie that often but when I do I want pecan pie so I am bringing one and you are welcome to share with me ;+)

Oh my god I had forgotten about this thread!  So I'm up late again, watching Psych, just finished Monk.  I spent a good chunk of the last few hours on this page in my memory book.  I really want to finish it but I know I'm too tired to write straight so it has to wait!  It's from 2005... that's how far behind I am :)  But I have all my photos and events for 2005 organized and I just gotta get on the ball and put them in there.

Then it will be time for 2006... 2007...2008... and 2009!  Wow, I got a lot to do and this is just one project :)

There comes 5 strangers riding into town. One a man called MikeMaroon, who chewed few bits of gum and spat every now and then. The second is Pippi with her long braids and picking her nose as they ride into town. One named Sweet pea smiling and waving to the folks. The other is Air Buiscuit Anne which is not hard to miss for her fumes were mighty powerful. And last, The Viking Lady who wore a hat and braids and can play a fancy tune with her musical armpits.
