I just took a look at your Paul Blart review, and when I clicked on "helpful" it seemed to have gotten stuck.  I did it again, and still stuck.  Hopefully the vote shows up for you at some point today!

Of the 3 last reviews I wrote only one got a helpful vote.  But I don't let it get under my skin.

Ryan, Spokane Man.. I did a couple of helpful votes for you as well yesterday I think on the Tide and Febreeze reviews... which I found interesting almost ironic.... and I say this tongue in cheek... one is scent free because you are concerned about the newborns reaction (I think you said that)  and the other is a scented product that works for you.. etc.  Anyway...  I got a kick out of popping on both reviews.  They both smelled good writing wise.     

Out of my 55 reviews only 3 have NO Helpful votes even though folks did read them, Thank you!  One with "No Helpful vote" was my review of my local bank.  I didn't think it would get helpful votes; I just wanted to let folks know how great my bank is and their continued efforts to provide great customer service!!  Way to go Wachovia-Asheville, NC!
The others were Jack Daniels BBQ Sauce, and Texas Pete Chili Sauce 

Of the 70 reviews I wrote only 8 didn't get HV. I honestly think that isn't too bad!

32 of the last 50 reviews I wrote have NO votes on them at all.   They get many hits...one of them has a nice comment (which means more than the vote to me).

Viewpoints even changed the name of the button to encourage it being used more and it has not worked.

I hope giving points for using it will encourage its use. 

I have a lot of reviews with no HV's (surprise, surprise). I usually only get a few a week. One time I came on here though and I had gotten 19 (in a day) without writing a new review.

I don't get it.

I know many of our great writers posted a ton of reviews during the past promotion, and that some may have not received any reads or helpful votes.  I thought I would start a forum thread where people could post reviews that hadn't been read or voted upon yet, so that people would know to go take a look.

I have a lot of free time and will take a look at any review links that are posted here.

Aha.. many helpful votes have appeared.....

And as you can see many people wonder if they should stick around or they are doing a decent job.  So do click on helpful votes when possible.  Make folks, especially new ones feel welcome.

As of November 4, I have 21 reviews and there are 9 helpful votes. I continue to add reviews.

When visiting I often provide the helpful votes without leaving a comment. I figured the helpful hint was more important. I could be wrong.

I visited the sites here and provided helpful votes for any review without any helpful hints. Hope this helped everyone.

People who write stuff want other people to read it.  I try and get around leaving helpful votes and comments where I can.  We are a community and should support each other!  We have some talented people here and SpokaneMan...applause to YOU for this post!!

I could almost swear I rated that review. I have noticed lately that I will rate a review and go back a bit later and there are no rates on it. I don't know where my rates go. Maybe I'm blocked! Oh wait...never mind. lol. But really I sometimes wonder where my rates go!

I have a lot of reviews that are being read, but no helpful votes which makes me feel like either I am a horrible writer or no one cares about the product I am reviewing. I write for the enjoyment I get from sharing info and trying to be helpful, not the HV, but still. It is nice to know someone got something from a review I wrote. I don't have a lot of time to read everyones reviews, but I try to pop in once a day and read a couple and give HVs.
