Recaro Young Sport

We have four different car seats we've tried since our daughter exceeded 20 pounds:  Recaro Como, Recaro Signo, Britax Marathon Cowmooflage (this was our first one), and the Recaro Young Sport.  While the Britax pattern is fun, the harness is nowhere near as structured and havy duty as those on the Recaro's.  Besides, who wouldn't want a convertible Italian car seat for their precious cargo?

Features I like:  the microfiber seat cover is great for your little one, and easy to clean if a pet gets on it (and it can be removed and washed); the harness has never twisted on me (where the belt actually...

Evenflo Chase Combination Booster Car Seat

My husband and I bought this car seat for our youngest daughter when she turned one (she was already over the 20 pounds necessary - she was always a big baby!) We spent quite a bit of time looking online and at Target looking for the best deal, as well as the one we deemed safest. We liked that this one had a 5 point harness and could hold her until 100 pounds- we're not too fond of the small booster seats and hope to keep our girls in car seats until we just can't convince them to stay in them any longer! We finally decided on this one for its high safety ratings and its relatively low cost. ...

I think this carseat is a good one but there are a couple things I would change.  One is that the strap you pull to tighten the harness is a little tough to pull.  The other is that when my daughter falls asleep her head falls forward- we have it reclined way back and it still happens.

I loved the graco kids booster seat. it kept my kids safe and at the same time allowed them to be more independent when jumping in and out of the car. they used this booster until they were about 4 and 5 years old and were big enough to do it without but they loved them, some car seats are such a pain to but not this one easy t oget in and out and the kids didnt even notice i made them use a car seat they named them big kid seats it was so cute.. and they were also pretty light which is good for lugging them to and from grandmas house although we ended up buying more so we had it.., but still it...

This car seat, at first seemed a bit pricey. Completely worth the price!

It was not any more confusing to install than any other car seat I've owned. Though it wasn't any easier either. Once it's in, though, it's in until your child hits the 40 lb. mark. It's rear-facing to 22 lbs. and forward-facing to 40 lbs.

The single most important feature, and the entire reason I purchased it, is the fact that the seat swivels in any direction to make getting your baby in and out of the vehicle easy. You lift the lever with one hand and swivel the seat in the direction you need. When you have the baby secured...

I just want to say that I really enjoyed this car seat.  It was easy to install and had extra belts to tie it in your car.  I really like to be extra safe when you bring home a new baby.

This is  a great seat. I needed a replacement that would convert to a booster when my 6 year old got taller. I was impressed with this option. I have a radian 80 in my other car, which I love but it doesn't convert (I don't think she will outgrow it though but it is a narrow seat and luckily she is a narrow child).

This seat is awesome! I got it as  baby shower gift and I loved it so much that I decided to get one for my second child when the time came. The back comes off when the child is big enough to only need the booster. The covers all come off too for easy washing. It is available almost anywhere like Traget, Walmart, and Toys R Us (and don't forget that Walmart pricematches, Toys R Us has it on sale most often but if you are not close to a Toys R Us you can take the add to Walmart to get the sale price). It comes in many different colors/designs, it just depends on where you are shopping as to...

After MANY, MANY hours of research on the internet and asking everyone I know with a child about car seats, I finally settled on getting a Britax Decathalon.  It had some of the highest ratings on every site I visited.  Britax in general was always rated at the top in every single category - safety, comfort, quality, etc.  I do not regret my decision one bit!  In fact, after having this car seat for a very short amount of time my husband and I both agreed it was well worth the money to buy another Decathalon.  We have since bought a Marathon as well (for a friend's car - we would have gotten...

Graco Nautilus 3-in-1 Car Seat

2009

After reading many reviews of the Graco Nautilus 3-in-1 carseat, I finally made the decision to buy one for my then 4 year old son.  While $150 is a good chunk of change for most anyone, I will never need to buy my son another carseat. This seat is forward-facing only, so in my opinion should only be used on children 2 and up.  The harness holds to 65 lbs, and I liked that not only are the straps stiff enough that they don't twist easily, but they also have the comfort pads at the shoulders so the seat's harness does not rub against the child's neck (also helps with seat belt burn in an accident). ...

I got this seat for my 3.5 year old who was reaching the height limit on her Britax Marathon. She is a very tall girl so I was looking for something that could harness her as long as possible. This seat has one of the highest harnessing heights and it converts into a high back and then no back booster up to a 100 pounds so it is the last seat I will ever have to buy her. The only complaint I have is that sometimes the buckle gets stuck on one side and it can be a real pain to get it out. Other than that, my daughter is very comfortable in the seat and it was extremely easy to put together and install....

I was very hesitate on paying this much for a car seat but after reading reviews and comparing the seat, it was a no brainer. My son is worth any amount it takes to keep him safe and this seat does just that. Fit great in our vehicles and is always snug and secure. My son is comfortable in the seat. He has been in it since he was a year and is turning 4 this month - he CANNOT unbuckle it which I love. I have hand washed the cover when needed and it still looks new. Wonderful seat.

I bought a Graco Nautilus when they first came out for my son. He was about a year and a half at the time, and we were having another baby so he got moved up. :) I did a lot of research, and although this car seat was new it got a lot of positive buzz from people on the car seat safety baby board I visited. Well he is now three, and my daughter is one and a half, and also ready to move up. Im so excited that these now come in pink! They look great in the back seat. I drive Hyundai Elantra, and have one on each side. I love the cupholders, and so do the kids. They aren't those cheapy kind you...

I thoroughly reviewed convertible carseats before deciding to get the Britax Decathlon.  My sister had one and loved it, so this helped.  Plus the reviews online for this were great.  It's expensive though but since it lasts until your kid is about 6, I felt that even though it was a lot of money up front, it would be worth it.  Here is a tip as well...if you don't care about the color you can get this car seat for about $180.00 shipped.

I like this carseat.  I don't love it.  I'm very short and in order to get my daughter in this snuggly I have to crawl into my car to get leverage before...
