the pandora prescription —

When I purchased this book, I had NO idea what it was going to introduce into my own personal life. I could NOT put it down!! This book talks about possible cover ups by Pharmaceutical companies and our own Government to supress a possible cure for Cancer so that we as Americans can suffer painful chemo and radiation treatments that cost billions of dollars and still have no guarantee of living or being cured while losing our faith in the Healthcare Industry. It also talks about how far our own Government will go to supress vital information and even assassinate our own people to keep us from ever knowing the truth!! I totally recommend this book to anyone who have ever had cancer, know of someone who has suffered with the disease or even anyone who thinks that our government would never hurt us!! I must also say that after reading this book, I look very differently now at my own doctor and wonder if they truly have my best interest at heart, or if they just want to drug us all into oblivion!

Yeah, the greed and corruption are out there, but, there are two sides to every story. Sometimes it's hard to separate the conspiracy theory wackos from the folks with legitimate grips. Good review.

I haven't read the book and it would probably frustrate me to no end if I did. I will die with Lupus and I have suffered from anorexia off and on for 25 years so I have seen the effects of medical care and cost. I'm glad to be here to but I can't believe just how much I had to pay out-of-pocket with one of the most expensive insurance plans available to me.

I work in the medical field in the business office so I am the meanie who collects money from patients for treatment and after reading this book, I really didn't want to even go back to work!! :( I have had a few co-workers who passed away from breast cancer, skin cancer and lung cancer and I believe that there is a cure out there, but how much would the Pharmaceutical and Medical Industry stand to lose monetarily if it were so simple as to eat Apricot Kernels to cure cancer?? Have you read the book? It really made me think and opened my naive little eyes to the big bad world of greed and corruption!! Glad that you made it through your cancer and I know its of no consolation, but I would spend as much as I had to be cured!! Thanks for your comment!! I am glad my review was good enough to read!!

I had bone cancer (soft tissue sarcoma) for 3 years--I am in my third year of remission. I did 3 yrs. of chemo and 4 rounds of radiation; which also spread my cancer. Your book probably sends a powerful message because I was one who after I went into remission was also devastated that I had exhausted all of my $30,000+ in savings just to stay alive. In the end: Don't put your faith in doctors. Place your faith in God--the Great Physician.
