the face shop is one of my favourite skin care stores. actually, i don't really like shopping for skin care products. i hate being dragged into origins, and i put up with aveda because i enjoy their tea and their hand cream. because i'm a skateboarder and snowboarder, i spend too much time out in the sun. i obviously need to wear facial sunscreen daily. in the past, i used jack black double duty face moisturizer pretty religiously; but it's only spf 20. i tried my friend's (yeah, another snowboarder guy who is straight and cares about taking care of his skin) shiseido spf 50 sun cream, but it felt a little too thick. i think the face shop's classic homme white brightening sun cream is the perfect match: smooth feel, high enough spf (at 50), and has the brightening stuff as a bonus. i used the sun cream along with the toner stuff for a while, and it really made a difference. now, having said all this, i should mention that i think the face shop has discontinued this line and replaced it with the neo homme line. when i run out of my stockpile of the clsasic homme stuff, i figure i'll try out the neo homme line. i expect it to be just as good.
