The Deadliest Catch —
My husband began watching this show and in the beginning I thought, "Why is he watching this, he doesn't fish?"But one day I sat down to watch it and was reeled in.
I had no idea about what these guys do for a living. How dangerous this profession is. I never thought about how we get the seafood- I just prepare it and eat it.
I have a whole new respect for these guys and you don't have to be a seafood lover, or fisherman to appreciate the show.
There have been times when the camera action has been so great that I braced myself thinking I am going to get hit by the waves that come crashing on the boats.
I really don't know how they do it. I wouldn't want to try it and wouldn't want my husband out here risking his life like they do.
Because they are dealing with nature (water) I reel like it is real reality. They can edit footage but they can't really predict what will happen out at sea. Watch it too much and you might get sea sick! Nothing like it on television!
